The food looks and tastes awesome, really fresh. Also the interior and exterior theme, decorations and music take you back in time.

Found this place by accident on the way from Albuquerque to Ruidoso. We got a late start and by the time we were on the road it was 10:45 at night. So we stopped because it was the only thing open other then fast food.

10/10 experience. The waitress and cook were both incredible. They were both running to help their customers, but they found time to help each other out. I don’t see that enough and I think it is highly commendable. The food was super filling and tasty and the experience was great. Can’t say enough good things about this place. I am definitely planning to come again.

Been coming here 20 years. I love this little gem. Right off the freeway, small vintage style diner. The ladies were working hard the nite I was there, great attitudes, very on point. Food was great! I got the BLT and fries, fried pickles with a couple cups of coffee.

I have eaten here about 4 times in my travel to Belen. All take out orders. I highly recommend just sticking to the burgers/sandwiches, fries/tots, shakes. The breakfast is also good. Other then that don’t bother. Bland, tasteless dinners. Even the chicken tenders were not good.

We must have got this place on an off night. Not too busy but we seemed to be the only table that got truly awful (actually barely any) service. The food we had (after an HOUR wait) was okay but wow, for a diner with so much history it was like they were still trying to figure it out.

This place is a hidden retro gem!] Its a total flashback to the old diner days. Your waitress is your cook in the middle of the night and shes awesome. The food is standard diner fare and its excellent. The only reason it’s not five stars is their prices are kinda out there. $40 for two people.

Visited this place for the first time in years. Had to order online no call in orders anymore kinda weird but ok. The food here just wasn’t the same as when it was the rio grande diner. Order the chicken fried steak breakfast the gravy as then as water. The bacon was burnt on the other breakfast and hash browns were cold like the out of the fridge cold. Just isn’t the same. The employee was super nice when we picked up the food.
