Everything was awesome! The food was reasonably priced, despite the crowd we didn’t wait long, the service was friendly and the food was great! Try the patty melt & loaded fries; you won’t regret it! The other picture is a steak sub and it’s fantastic as well – even if my husband didn’t share a bite!

Always good, friendly customer service. I got beef lomein, sesame chicken with fried rice, 3 eggs rolls, and a Cowboy burgers combo (fries and drink). The Cowboy burger is the only new item I have never ordered before.

Let’s just say it’s 3:00am, a few weeks since I’ve been to Pennys in Oakboro.. and I’m craving their Shrimp Fried Rice. I’ve ordered many things, the food is always fresh, the staff is always amazing! the amount of food received is well worth it. It’s professional, it’s delicious, it’s all of the above! I can probably type for days on how good this restaurant is but I’d rather let people find out for themselves. Read this review, and tell em Josh sent you lol . We enjoyed our food and experience at Pennys. My husband said it was one of the best burgers he ever had. My buffalo chicken sandwich was delicious as well. We will definitely be back soon!

I lived in area 20 years ago, worked at paper plant over two years. I would eat here weekly, sometimes twice a week. My go to is their lo-mein. The noodles is awesome and they can spice it up nicely (medium). I also like their pizza. I live in concord now but when we are on our way to or back from the beach, it’s a must!

I don’t know WHO they sold Penny’s to but it’s not the same. Now they selling spring rolls damn near $2 a piece and calling then egg rolls. 4 tiny spring rolls for $6. Ik know my money don’t mean anything to them but I wouldn’t return and I use to love this place. Smh
