OMG !! This is a must visit if you’re in Newport, KY or anywhere in the area. The staff are friendly and care about the giving you a great experience. You will not be disappointed at all with the food & drinks. There is a lot of history in this building.

This is quite possibly the best tour I’ve ever been on. Chris hosted not only an immersive tasting tour, but a surreal history lesson, painting a picture of a time a century ago, and beyond. The staff was beyond fantastic and my goodness, the food!! The food is top notch! Thank you for an amazing experience! I actually almost want to move to Newport to be able to experience this on the regular.

Awesome atmosphere, delicious food, good bourbon and great people. You have to do the FREE tour and tasting. Chris was our guide, besides the bourbon you learn a little of the history of the place and Newport. If your looking for a new place to try we highly recommend Pensive named after the 1944 Derby winner.

Great speak-easy bourbon tour! They do a unique tasting with a salty, sweet, and savory food pairing. Fun to taste how the bourbon changes with each of them. Cool history about the prohibition/speakeasy that was in the same location.

Food is really good. Good burgers, fries, and chicken tenders. But service was lacking. Instead of waiters taking orders they have you order your food at the bar and then they bring it out to you. Why? You’re already delivering the food why not also take the orders. It slows everything down because the customers can only place orders and pay 1 by 1.

This was an absolutely phenomenal tour. From the hospitality to the bourbon, I couldn’t have asked for more. I found it great that the tasting was paired with salty, sweet, and savory snacks to observe how it changed the taste of the bourbon. Plus we stayed for lunch and had one of the best burgers ever! I’d give them more stars if I could. Highly recommend!
