At the end of my meal I looked over at the cook and said “This is exactly what I needed.” I had the pulled pork w/potato salad & Mac n’ Cheese. This was some of the most authentic bar-b-que I’ve had in a while and I am very happy I took the time to head over.

I stumbled upon People’s BBQ while working the TN State Fair and I’M IN LOVE! I ordered the brisket, potato salad, and baked beans and it’s all delicious. The owners are super friendly, the dining area is clean, the food 10/10 good.

There was no waiting. I had the brisket, white beans, apples. The brisket had a good taste but it was so dried out and tough I couldn’t eat much of it. The sides were not seasoned good, may be healthier, but doesn’t taste as well. I will probably try them again and try something else on the menu.

I took my daughter to the bathroom and saw a roach crawling on the floor. I know everyone heard her scream. As for the food, greasy and bland. The portion my boyfriend received was very small. BE CAREFUL IF YOU GO TO THIS HOLE IN THE WALL, as another review read.

Best BBQ we’ve had in years! We tries the brisket, pulled pork sandwich, green beans and potatoe salad. Everything was delicious. The meats were perfectly smokey but still juicy and tender. We opted for the vinager sauce which had the perfect amount of heat and zing.

The food is really good. And the sweet tea reminds me of back home. The price is a little high, but to me it was worth it. The bathrooms where very clean. It wasn’t that busy at all when we stop. We got our food to go, and it didn’t take that long either. I had no clue they where even open again, until someone else told me. So maybe they can do something about that, so as everyone else can see that they have reopened, and under new owners to.
