This place was really good I was new from Ohio here and the only bad part was if you didn’t know what you want GET OUT THE WAY ! the guy at the front seemed like he was impatient but we got stew chicken , rice and peas salad and cabbage , it was really good we got a large and a beef pattie you can tell it was made from scratch , I CANT WAIT TO COME BACK . My husband loves island food , and I really enjoyed it .

Food is nasty as hell. Curry chicken was super oily and very salty.. oxtail was dry and hard…. rice and peas was mushy…cabbage was dry as well.. The ends of the roti was hard.. beef patty and chicken patty was not tasty at all..First and last time I will spend 60.00 in this place again.. Never coming back ..Be aware and check your food before you leave.

Sorry that did not take a picture of the platters that we ordered they were heaping amounts of food on there and all of it was delicious the curry goat the curry chicken the meat patties it was so delicious and well worth the money is it looking for a Caribbean this is the place

Foods good. Service is a little hectic but it’s kind of what I love about this place. My only thing is like most Jamaican spots if you want something specific and popular go earlier later in the day things tend to be sold out.

This establishment is beyond disappointing.. Not only is the service horrible the store will be completely empty as you see in the picture and no one will even ask if you need any help and this is not the 1st time …I wanted to support a black business in my Neighborhood even tho this food is mediocre I still support it because it was walking distance from my home but never again and definitely don’t encourage anybody to support.. not only tasteless food but trash service the best thing is the Beef patties! I’m Caribbean and this is not it..

The food is very good always. However, I went and purchased Oxtail and Rice and Peas the servings is very small and I brought a large. They need to improve on the servings. Too much Garvey for the rice it was so small and it’s very expensive did not get my money’s worth.

If you enjoy People choice restaurant your not Jamaican or your mother can’t cook!!! The food is horrible, it has No taste the curry goat was dry it seems to be beef instead of goat. they have a large following but clearly the ppl don’t know what authentic food taste like the owner need to find a new chef!!! I gave this place a few chances hoping it would get better but it didn’t, & then they have the audacity to make u wait long period of time to get your food. It’s an all male staff & they move slow as hell!!!… This place has been around for years & they’re the perfect example of getting comfortable & taking quality & customers for granted.
