I didn’t even want to give a one star!!!!! I just came here about fifteen minutes ago I had to repeat order twice at drive thru and umteen times at windows AND STILL DIDN’T GET MY ORDER RIGHT gave wrong change. I been coming here 25 years and this is crazy maybe if y’all weren’t sitting Around and doing nothing like damn . The restaurant was empty except for five employees. That didn’t keep them from taking 20 minutes to make three tacos and fries while holding our debit card hostage (why?). I had to go inside to ask for them to hand it back to my fiancé. I have absolutely never had such an experience with a fast food restaurant. Pepe’s used to be my favorite inexpensive Mexican food, but now they’re more expensive than Taco Bell and the quality of service is horrendous. We will be taking out money elsewhere.

Well this was expensive and terribly disappointing!! I’ll make this very honest. I worked for Mr. Reece at Martins ( Safari) . We served only quality food !! What I ordered from Pepe’s was a disgrace!! 2 11$ dinner’s that were old burnt and so discussing all the food mixed up in mess w/ melted cheese to cover it!! I’ve been in service industry for 30+ years and Mr. Martins son in law isn’t leaving a good legacy for the Martin Fsmily and Mr. John Reece!! Shame on you!

When we went in it smelled very wierd, Food was not fresh and was not even luke warm. Never visiting here again or insist anybody to visit. Taste was not great or good. Persons who took the order were polite though.

Today is August 18th, 2023. Whomever was working this morning from 755-810am does not want this establishment to succeed. I ordered 3 breakfast tacos, and in this 15 mins, I lost all respect for the location. 1st, there was no menu in the drive through. 2nd, when I got to the window and ASKED if they had breakfast burritos, the guys asked if I wanted regular. He asked as if I knew what that meant and would just agree to it. 3rd, I asked for 2 sausage and 1 bacon breakfast tacos. Then, he closed the window and walked back into the kitchen to never return. I just left after another 13 minutes. I lost more in missed wages than I would have spent at this place, and there was no respect for another person’s time.

Used to be sad cause pepes had to cut back on the portions they put in their burritos but they seem to have come back to their glory days. Ain’t some fancy place but at their prices they are always a fantastic choice. Green salsa still as good as I remember.

My FAVORITE local taco place in Bryan/College Station. In business since 1969. I drive from Houston to get my 3 crispy tacos with extra beef with light lettuce. What makes it so special? The seasoned ground beef and hot sauce. A MUST TRY!
