I think this was the best Mexican food I’ve had, point blank period. Servers were extremely nice and friendly. Food was criminally cheap. I would pay twice as much for what I just ate. The best value meal in Huber and one of the most underrated restaurants. Will be back ASAP.

Ordered street steak tacos, eloete, beans & rice. Steak wasn’t tender and lacked flavor. I added lettuce and cheese to my tacos. Food was hot and fresh. Restaurant is very clean. They offer various desserts and drinks.

Truly authentic Mexican food. Everything is so amazingly fresh it’s unbelievable it’s like coming to Mexico for a mini vacation right here in Huber Heights Ohio. The portions are large and the prices are small. They’ve been in business for two or three months so you probably miss them the ones you come here you’ll continue to come back. Also don’t let you sample the flavors of ice cream. Lookout Young’s dairy.

This is the only spot in Ohio that serves Mexican food so good you will get happy flashbacks of meals with family, even if you did not grow up with Mexican relatives or eating Mexican food. If you can’t afford the PTO or tickets to go on vacation someplace where they serve food that blows your mind, consider stopping into Pepe’s for dinner and dessert. The mangonadas deserve their own tier of 5-stars. Yes, they are that good. The carne asada and chicken tinga have layers of flavor and seasoning, no matter the format — tacos, burritos, gorditas — and all of it tastes like someone out there loves you. Like other reviewers have said, the elote/street corn is noteworthy. Before arriving, I was going to skip the elote (thinking that it would taste good, if somewhat plain) but one small bite convinced me that would’ve been a mistake.

The food is good, it’s not the most authentic mexican food I’ve ever had but it is certainly one of the best in the Dayton area. Tried the gordita, burrito, empanada and tamales and all were great. Will be returning to sample the tacos and rest of the menu. Overall I would add this place to a stop you should make.

DELICIOUS..authentic mexican food & snacks…I just love the vibe of the whole place. The staff was friendly. And the food was….AMAZING!! I ordered the chicaron gordita & my daughter ordered the steak gordita. Both had a really really good flavor. My husband & other daughter both ordered a torta. The sandwich was a big as the plate! My son ordered tacos, & we ordered a couple tamales & elotes to try out. After we ate lunch we had ordered some other stuff for dessert (Fruit cups with chamoy & tajin of course, some strawberry ice cream, mangonada & a cup of atole) EVERYTHING was so tasty. I highly recommend this place. Even though we live 40 minutes away, I definitely will be visiting this place very often. And I cant wait to try the rest of the stuff on the menu!!

Took my grandkids to lunch and they loved it! The churros are the best I’ve ever tasted. The staff were friendly and the food is fresh! My granddaughter said she could taste the love in her sopa. They have lots of sweet treats for the kiddos. We’ll be back for sure.
