I use to have lunch at the “old” Pepito’s before the “new” Pepito’s was built, Pepito’s has a good menu full of great Mexican Food choices. Prices are very reasonable. The Chili Verde Burrito I use to get back in the day still taste exactly the same. If your in Highland CA give Pepito’s a try.

I ordered chili verde fries and all I got was fries with cheese and sour cream no sauce at all literally just fries with cheese an sour cream. How do you cook pork chili verde without green sauce. I called to ask about it and I talked to two different girls and they just kept saying I don’t know how they’re made our managers not here I don’t know what to tell you. I also got a chili rellano burrito, thankfully that was really good. Also they close early like 5 or 6pm. I know I tried coming by a couple times before an they were already closed.

This is the first time that my brother and myself Have eaten here papito’s ordered pork burritos and chicken tacos excellent excellent. I had to ask myself, where’s the beans? Because there was so much pork in the burrito excellent. I haven’t had the chicken taco yet. Because the burrito filled me up so much. I had to leave this review top-notch place. The cashier was friendly and helpful. There is a good variety of food on the menu. I ordered the chili relleno burrito and added rice and beans to it. It was a big burrito it had great flavor and texture. The prices are unbeatable. I think this place will start to be packed very soon. I would definitely go back. One negative is they closed at 6:00 on the day I was there.

I’ve been coming to Pepito’s since the 1970s when I was going to San Gorgonio High School. Back then, it was a tiny taco shack and they just recently rebuilt it into a new and modern restaurant. The food here is very tasty and this place offers something that is rare these days which is Value. 5 bucks for a combo burrito plate with fries and a refillable drink. My absolute favorite goto is the pork Enchirito plate. It’s a wet burrito covered in enchilada sauce and comes with salad and drink, all for 7 bucks and change. There’s a dollar menu and a kids menu. They have killer desserts too like the Churro Sundae. Whether you’re on a tight budget or looking for good food, this is the place to go.
