Referred by a friend and will definitely be back. Thank you for the experience. The food was delicious and the service was great. No complaints here. Started with egg rolls, meal was curry goat, rice and peas cabbage and plantains.

I think this place will consistently get a 4 star even with exceptionally good food, due to the gratuity + tip challenge. I think it’s a bit lazy to push all but food costs on customers. However, I had the best escovitch fish ever! My server (Tubbs) was sweet and attentive. He makes a strong drink, but it’s not particularly good. He’s a good bartender, personable and chatty, so he could benefit from mixology classes. I’ll definitely be back.

My first time visiting this restaurant was on June 16, 2022 for a birthday celebration and I was quite pleased. The restaurant really is just a house that someone had the idea to turn into a restaurant so it’s super cute and intimate. The place is nicely decorated and gives it an upscale vibe. The drinks are delicious, well what I ordered the mango margarita was delicious. The food took a little minute to come out for it to not be a lot of patrons at the time my party and I visited. We ordered the salmon and coconut shrimp, the curry chicken and I even tried the jerk coconut corn! Everything was to die for and I would definitely be back.

I loved it when I came in. I was greeted by the bar maid. She made me feel comfortable with her smile and tone of voice. We were served in a matter of moments. The food was great. I will be telling my co-workers who love Jamaican foods to check this place out.

On my visit, which was a Saturday evening, I experienced a sub-par restaurant experience. The restaurant at this time only had 3 beverage’s (water, coke and cranberry juice) and had a full bar. The food was pretty good and I will recommend the jerk chicken egg rolls, coconut shrimp and oxtails. Maybe this particular day they weren’t hitting on all cylinders, but they have good potential. Wouldn’t revisit based on an inadequate supply of food and beverages.

We had to wait a long time for our food. A looking time. Also, the music was a little too loud, but it’s a cute little place. Nice decor. Staff was very polite and even explained why the food takes so long. We ordered calamari which was not impressive. It was barely warm, but the sauce was on point. We order jerk fish tacos which were delish. 3 full size tacos, so good. Catfish with mashed potatoes and asparagus was also delish, the best part of our meal. We also got Brown stew chicken. This dish is a lot of food! Was served piping hot and was good. I ordered rice and peas but didn’t know that meant rice and beans. But the chicken was tasty and plantain was very good. That peppa sauce is so good. The food tasted fresh (except the calamari), but be prepared to wait.

My new Spot. I love this spot for lunch. Take risk getting back to work late 0and everything. I’m from CT and very particular about my food i rarely find food that taste like home. I feel like whoever back there cooking put a dash of love before they send to me. Nice portions. Friendly staff

Peppa Flame felt like a hidden gem almost, if you weren’t paying attention while driving by you could miss it. Outside from that the food was really good, the Jerk Chicken Spring Rolls amazing! Tried the Chicken Rasta Pasta and the Brown Stewed Chicken, those were equally amazing. Definitely will be coming back to try more on the menu, only caveat, it’s a tad bit pricey.

Kelly was phenominal. We were out of town visiting and Kelly made us feel at home. The cook even came out to ensure we enjoyed the meal. Great atmoshere, great customer service. Great OX tails meaty, not fatty. Drinks were great. Bathrooms could have been cleaner, but the overall experience was great. Will come to visit when we return.

The restaurant was really clean. They have a full bar. I had the shrimp curry and my daughter has the chicken curry. They were both DELICIOUS!!! The portions were generous. The rice and beans/peas mixed with the curry sauces was perfect. Oh my the cabbage side!!!!! The server was awesome. He was running his legs of and still super attentive, but not intrusive.
