Small, family owned, traditional Trinidadian restaurant. Amazing food! They also have a burger for those not as adventurous. I personally had the chicken curry roti, tamarind tea, and a couple Solo sodas. Large portion, my roti covered the entire plate.

Our favorite meal from our trip to Key West! We got the goat curry roti and plantains both of which were cooked perfectly, and the tamarind tea made in-house. If you are looking for healthy, delicious, and relatively inexpensive food, support this local business. If we were local we would eat here every day!

Just like grandma Shaffina used to make! This is the most authentic trinidadian food I have ever had in the U.S. If you love culture and curry, come to Pepper Pot. They are not shy with the meat and the amount of food you get makes this place the best value and best tasting food on the island!

This was easily the best meal we had as a family during our trip to Key West. We tried the Curry Chicken Roti, Pulled Pork Sandwich, Jerk Chicken Sandwich, and Potato Salad; all of them were excellent. I would highly recommend taking the time to give it a try. It’s a little out of the way, but it’s well worth the trip to get what feels like home-cooked comfort food from Trinidad. I’m excited to visit here again on our next trip to the keys!

This is a hidden gem take out restaurant in old town Key West that serves delicious Caribbean inspired food with emphasis on Trinidadian specialties such as roti and dhal. I had a beef roti along with a sorrel drink which were great – highly recommended and reasonably priced

Traditional island style food in a tiny, unpretentious Mom & Pop place. Very flavorful dishes with unique spices and sauces. Very friendly couple run it. Nothing else in Key West like this little gem. Our most memorable meal in Key West.

This is the perfect “hole in the wall” local spot with excellent food. It was a lot of food and it was delish! The owner was very friendly and took time to answer questions and explain the food options to us since we had never been. It’s very small inside, so we took our food to go and ate it back at the hotel. We saw a couple locals in their lunch break so this is definitely a must visit place if you like to avoid chains.

An absolute must stop if you’re looking for interesting and tasty food in the area. Everything was well seasoned and made fresh. The owner is super sweet and fast to serve! The homemade teas in the fridge are a must try if you love trying new things. I would recommend this to anyone that’s not interested in the local American cooking, and wants some heavily spiced food. I would come back if I was in the area again.

This small spot packs a Flavor punch!! Food was great and service was outstanding. Looks like a family owed and Operated spot. They kept checking on us, asking if we need anything. The girl on the register (Nilani) was so sweet and went over the whole Menu with us. The mom and dad We’re super friendly. I love spots like this, family owned, they take great pride in what they do. We will always appreciate and support folk like that. Highly recommend!!

So glad we discovered this restaurant for lunch! The owners Amy and Shane have a great thing going here. We had the geera pork and jerk shrimp sandwiches. Both were delicious!! Wonderful flavors and generous portions. I also tried the homemade tamarind iced tea. Lightly sweetened and perfect for a hot day.
