Place seems to be pretty popular, 2 stars for the milkshake alone. Asked for a cheeseburger sub (what kind of sub stop doesn’t sell cheesesteak!?!) with lettuce tomato and ketchup. Got a cheeseburger sub with lettuce tomato ketchup mustard onions and pickles. Asked to correct the order and was told it’s too late the food is already out so I just lost $20 on food I literally can’t even eat. Looks disgusting on top of that like the meat was just yanked out of the freezer and thrown right on the griddle. They also advertise boardwalk fries but you can tell they are store bought and taste nothing like boardwalk fries. Was scared to post the review when I remember they have a sign right up front that says there is a $5.00 charge for whining. Make food in poor taste then charge people to complain about it wow that should have been a red flag the moment I walked through the door. Good place for overpriced milkshakes tho

We love Pepperjacks, locally owned, amazing food, awesome variety of sandwiches, everything is great, including the salads. The online menu is great for skipping the line and ordering ahead. The bread used for the subs is superb and they have gluten free options as well. Best of all is the old school ice cream cones and the shakes are also a fave, but they are huge so we tend to split them. The kids prefer sprinkles on their chocolate vanilla swirl soft serve cones.

The bread they used for sub was really hard and just regular white bread and not fresh at all. Chicken had kind of a smell to it and price was also not that good for the quality of food you get. Definitely need to improve. Only Fries were good. Like the restaurant set-up though.

Great sandwich selection, and ice cream! The hot fudge sundae and turkey sub was delicious and very satisfying!!! This was my first visit here, service was awsome can’t wait to try other food choices.

If you want delicious subs, fries and milkshakes this is the place for you! My fiance use to come here all the time when he was a kid and recommend that we should go here. So I got the Santa Fe sub and a chocolate milkshake while he got the meatball sub and strawberry shake. The food was exquisite and the milkshakes were thick and delicious. I highly recommend trying their fries also, we went again just to try new subs and the fries. The fries taste like they came right off the broadwalk! If you haven’t gone here already, its definitely worth going to!

Food 5/5, staff 5/5, value 5/5, clean and looks like the place belongs at on the beach. One Major Complaint though you can NOT op-out of receiving spam by both phone and email when ordering on line. Recommend calling order in so your privacy is respected.

A true hidden gem in the burbs of Howard County. You may need to follow Indiana Jones to find it bit its well worth the trip. The subs are hearty and served on a delicious soft hoagie roll’ the true treat however are the Boardwalk Fries served and the milkshakes poured straight from the soft serve ice cream machine……….heavenly!

This place has been around since 1932 and used to be a gas station! It’s tucked away on a suburban road in Scaggsville and a Howard county gem. They serve boardwalk fries and a variety of hot/cold subs. I’ve been coming here for years especially in the summer for their snow cones. They don’t do those anymore, but we decided on getting chocolate ice cream and a peanut butter crunch milkshake. They have self seating indoor/outdoor and even a small area to keep your dog while you go inside to order. Pepperjacks is the spot!
