Hands down the best sandwich I’ve had in the Waterloo/ Cedar Falls area. The sandwich was a nice size and all of the ingredients tasted really fresh and had a perfect balance of spiciness and cheesiness. Service was also quick. My only complaint is how expensive the cheese sauce is, $2.50 at the time of this review.

The guy working counter at register couldnt get anything right. They all acted like they dont like there job there. I wasnt asked if i wanted anything on my Philly when it was done. Ordered 2 fries and only got one so had to reask for the 2nd one still waited till 2 ppl where helped before i got my 2nd frie never had bad serivce here 8/25/23

Staff argued and swore in front of children and families after we have been coming here for months buying 6+ sandwiches at a time. Asked to talk to the supervisor and was again cursed out by the “manager” and then she walked in back. Check the cameras this was an absolute joke.

By far one of my favorite places to get lunch. However, I might reconsider where I get lunch from now on as my latest visit I wasn’t too impressed with the way I was treated as a customer. Use of profanity by the employees really turned me off made me feel I am not welcomed back. I find this really sad because I love PepperJax food but this visit left a sour taste in my mouth.

Was craving Philly cheesesteak, thought pepperjax would be a good choice. Came in, employees are clearly over worked and miserable. They were out of all sides, didn’t have fries or chips. Philly was over priced considering I’m not getting a side. Had to go to Burger King, next door competitor for fries and their staff was very friendly and happy to help me. Probably will not crave pepperjax again.

Food is never a question at this open grill restaurant. You see what they are doing as they prepare your food. The Phillys are amazing and rice bowls are not bad either. The dining area could use some attention. This place apparently requires the staff to bus the tables. It didn’t feel like the crew understood who’s job it was so there were many tables taken up with boxes and empty drink containers. Get that cleaned up and this place is easily a 5 star establishment.
