PepperJax grill is by far my favorite Philly Cheesesteak franchise/chain in and around KC! Their bread is always amazing, I typically get the steak Philly, with all toppings and ask for a “fireball” (cooked in Jalapeño juice). It’s always amazing and a nice treat when I see a Pepperjax!

One of the workers was coughing while putting our food together. It would be polite to maybe wear a mask to help block some germs from getting our food… Or maybe not be doing that part of the kitchen with a cough. No TVs, so do go to watch any sporting events, but great atmosphere to sit in booths away from other customers and eat.

We tried several times to place an online order for 14 people totaling over $170! The website continuously glitched out so we called at 11:05am to place an over the phone order and the manager said “I do not feel comfortable placing an order for 14 people over the phone, try the website again.” This is sad to see that businesses are closing all the time on Mass St. Then we try to support them and are turned down by the “Manager” of the business. Sad, sad.

I like the made-to-order options. Had a steak and rice bowl (although technically it was more of a mushroom bowl because that’s my favorite!). It was very good with the exception of being overly salted. Might have been the addition of mushroom gravy.
