Very nice place. Clean, organized, and good home town food choices. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Casual dining and everything from omelets, burgers, lasagna, and much more. Abbie was our server extraordinare and was so kind and efficient. We also met Joe, the owner, who was quite friendly, informative, and humble. We had lunch on one day and breakfast the next day. Fortuna is a quaint little town, and the people are so friendly and down to earth. Highly recommended

Husband got sick and violently threw up after eating their Irish Skillet. When I have called to speak to the manager he has never returned my calls, even after one of the workers said she’d give him my information. They lost a customer….not because of the poor food that one time, because I understand that happens, but because of the poor service.

I have ordered from Pepper’s many times. I always order a chef salad and apple pie overboard. I have never had a problem until now. The salad was perfect! The dessert and salad were in the bag together and tied. When I got to my vehicle I had to rip the bag to open it. The smaller container had opened and the ice cr.eam was already melted. It contained a small piece of pie and melted ice cream. I brought it back to the restaurant and the manager,(I guessed that was her) ask me if everythong was ok. I told her no and handed her the container. It was not busy at all. I saw four booths occupied with 2-3 customers, 4 waitresses, hostess, and the manager working the floorr. She ask the girl to remake it. She did not heat the pie, hardly any caramel on it, and handed me a Styrofoam cup with half a scoop of ice cream in it. The manager told her that is how she does it. No whip cream no wafer. I will never dine from your business again. I paid $7.00 for the dessert and charged twenty-five cents for takeout. I am very disappointed with everyone that was working that night except for the cooks.
