Wasn’t my first choice. Atmosphere was really lacking. They had a gluten free menu with several options. Michael was our server and did a great job. Thanks Micheal!! Food was very regular. Nothing to write home about. But did the job of filling us up. GF firecracker shrimp was the best part. No breading as they didn’t have gluten free breading. But hey…healthier,. Maybe. ;). We both got the sweet and sour shrimp, scallops with haddock over rice. Liked the peppers on it too. Their GF version was all no breading so there was a lot of juice in the bowl. The regular version all the sea food was breaded. The person eating it wished they had gotten the GF version without the breading. I guess I made eating mine look pretty good. Served very hot… Not complaining just warning. May have burned my mouth a couple of times before I started blowing on the contents of my bowl before sticking it into my mouth. Was pretty good at first but there was a lot on the bowl!

The lobster roll was suggested by a guy at the outlet mall, and it’s worth the drive. The lobster meat was so fresh and juicy in between the bread. Enjoyed every bite.

So enjoyable! Loved every moment of our visit. We really liked the smoked bluefish pate and added house made chips to it as well. Now the baked scallops will bring me back again and again. Whoever created this dish is just fantastic, I am very impressed!

Coming from London, this is one of the most exciting spots to eat at in Maine. I came here right after a triathlon race and couldn’t have been more satisfied. The mixed fried seafood plate was delicious – and of course complemented by a side of french fries, coleslaw and root beer!

We waited for about 20 minutes at 6:30 on a Tuesday… it’s a popular place! And for good reason. With a dedicated gluten free menu, I was impressed with the offerings. Both the hostess and our server were very friendly and accommodating. I had the Fisherman’s Choice basket, gluten free version. The flavor on the seafood was delicious, though the portion of fish was a bit on the small side. The scallops weren’t gritty and were cooked perfectly. The fries were great! My husband enjoyed his fried clam basket and devoured the whole thing in mere minutes. Though the atmosphere is a bit noisy and the AC was freezing (bring a sweater), I will definitely be returning in the future.
