Been coming here for a couple of years and Matt has always been so helpful and friendly. He is accommodating with my substitutions for my autistic son and suggests multiple options when we need. Super friendly atmosphere. I wish a Peppinos was on Long Island as well!

I came here for the pizza bc I only love NY style pizza and I was not disappointed. Even if it was slightly salty, I still enjoyed the generous w mozzarella cheese, the thin thin crust, and the fluffy and light but chewy dough. The crust was probably the best crust I had in ages. Almost like a hybrid filó dough thin top layer and chewy core without much density. The waitress was very sweet, gave our dog fresh water in a clean washed bowl, let our dog sit with us on the outside table which had an umbrella for sun. The salad was huge and could be shared with 2-3 people. Calamari was done just right … light and crispy with lots of homemade marinara sauce. The surrounding area is beautiful in the Catskills with lakes and farms. The town is nice and friendly. The bathroom was nicely done, clean, and spacious.

As usual, the restaurant is amazing. The staff are fantastic and so friendly. The food is delicious with very generous portions! Go hungry. The prices are decent for the amount of food you get. The atmosphere on the deck is the best on a warm summer night. Honestly it’s a must visit if you’re in Callicoon.

Love the charming town of Callicoon, NY! Love Peppino’s Restaurant. Indoor and outdoor seating. Caution, large portions here! Veal chop dinner I got could feed 3 people! Great drinks (beer) reasonably priced. Bar area. Plenty of nearby street parking. Not cheap, but excellent food cost extra. Friendly and professional staff. A door opened and I noticed staff in the kitchen joking with each other, good vibes and food here! I will be back!

Outstanding service and THE BEST Italian food! Matt is always fantastic!! Helpful kind and caring :)) he answers phone and knows it’s me & knows our go-to order – what’s better than that! We’ve been going to Peppino’s for 20+ yrs…when it was tiny shop with few booths! Enjoyed seeing growth and with same strong commitment to outstanding food & service. Just cannot be beat! My family tried Peppinos and we were not disappointed. I had penne a la vodka! Delicious and super huge portion. My son had the stuffed pizza and my husband tried the margarita. Clearly we couldn’t decide. The food was great. Brenda, our server, was wonderful. Best of all, we were able to sit with our pup out front. We will be back!
