Tim provided excellent service. He was helpful, professional and very kind. The coffee was fresh, breakfast was delicious and timely even being shorthanded as we have seen so many businesses suffer from aross the country. Carrie, the regional manager stopped by our table and she really seemed to care about a diners experience. On a personal note, I suffer from social anxiety and the moment we walked in the atmosphere was so relaxing and made me feel completely at ease.

We had a great time at Perkins. We had an especially great waitress,who was friendly, bubbly and was having a great time herself. We didn’t have to wait very long for our entrees and as we finished plates, they were cleared fairly quickly by our waitress. The food was good and hearty and we filled up fast. We would totally go back to Perkins again.

We waited over 45 minutes for our food. Our server only came to our table once, and that was to take our order. They were moderately busy when we got there (around 1pm) finishing up their lunch rush, and she was busy cleaning tables. We asked the host who seated us why everybody who was seated after us was finishing their food, and we still had not received ours. The manager (I think) came to our table and said they had been busy and the kitchen was backed up, but assured our food was coming and walked back to the front. When our food finally came, I noted to the server that my meal (breakfast) was not prepared as I asked. Her response was “I wrote it on there, that’s just how the kitchen sent it out”, with no apology or offer to correct the mistake. The food was hot and tasted good. The service and management is the reason for my review. We were traveling from out of state, so I doubt I will ever go back, regardless. I can only hope they treat their regulars better than that.

Delicious. Fast. Absolutely perfect. I’ll say it again. Delicious. Unexpectedly absolutely delicious. Read a review about jalapeño burger being someones new fav. Sadly it is not a thing here. Major let down. However there is no lack of other amazing dishes to choose from. Out of all the Perkins I’ve been to this place is by far the cleanest establishment with the kindest staff. Food was at our table faster then a McDonalds drive threw. They were perfectly prepared dishes that looked better then the pictures in the menu and reward you with a flavor explosion. You will not leave disappointed unless you are looking for a reason to be a Karen.

Perkins has been a big eating place in my life but never have I been treated as poorly or rudely as I have been today. The manager freaked out and all I said was they needed to get things in gear for how slow they are and she freaked out. I will not be eating here again until she is fired or quits

Super busy weekend in Yankton and unfortunately, Perkins was not prepared for it. We waited 20 minutes to have our drink orders taken (she wouldn’t take our food order bc it wasn’t her section) and for 45 minutes before our food order was taken. A total of two hours later our food arrived. Super understandable that there would be significant delays, but tables seated a solid 30 minutes after we sat down were served and left before our food came. Not sure if it’s a kitchen issue or the server we ended up with, potentially a combo, but the lack of communication was frustrating. The dining area was clean, bathrooms were clean, and the food was better than I’d expect for such delays. Advice for management: offer incentives for the weekends that will be so obviously busy (like soccer weekends) so that you can be sufficiently staffed and have it all planned up. There was a guy serving in the other section and he was killing it. Let that guy train for and lead during these busy weekends; he’s got it figured out.

Excellent service. Tim was exceptionally busy but never failed to be attentive. He was on the ball with filling coffee cups, delivering the meal and offering tasty desserts. Will definitely return to Perkins.

You know as a local, I thought this restaurant was better before. I like Perkins and all but wasn’t quite what I expected. Food was relatively good, service was fair, not that they weren’t trying, but it seemed as if they were still trying to get the hang of things. I think the most disappointing part of visit was the lack of silverware, shown in pictures, after we got our food and lack of cookies, muffins, and pies. Staff was friendly and did there best, food was quick after ordering and done right.
