My friend and I stopped in here, and we both had cheeseburgers. We split the half and half from 1 plate. I ordered 1 plate and an extra cheeseburger. The food was ok. It was fresh and hot. What got me with this restaurant was the floor being so sticky that my flip-flops didn’t want to come back up off the floor. The entire floor was like this. Then, as we were eating, we noticed just how dilapidated this building was. It needs a major remodel.

Food kinda bland. Salad was watery and dressing was too thin as well. If you like cheese you’ll like it. Didn’t get our extra dressing either. Chili wasn’t that great on the hot dogs and the bread was slightly hard.

The one on Travelers Rest is terrible, People nice but the building and tables and chairs are horrible. I was told the owner of the building will not put money for the upkeep of the building. Sad because it’s been there a very long time.

This place would get a 5 star review from me, but the chili here is awful. With that said, everything else is great and the prices are wonderful by today’s standards. People are friendly, but the drive-thru can be a bit slow. Please work on the chili! I need a reasonably priced chili cheeseburger.

This is a stable eating place in Travelers Rest. Food great and has the best chicken sandwich in town . Been getting food for ever and always good . Never had anything that wasn’t good . Keep up the good work! Friendly and great people running Pete’s.
