If you are looking for one of the best steaks you’ll ever eat, this is the place for you. If your looking for a place based on atmosphere, this isn’t it. The restaurant isn’t about spending money on décor. BUT you will find top notch service, incredible steaks and very fair pricing. Definitely a hidden gem. Will always recommend and will definitely return.

The meal was excellent. Meat was done SpotOn for temperature. The atmosphere is quite and relaxing. The decor inside will remind you of being in Austria. The figures that surround the dining area on a shelf are fascinating. Someone spent some time acquiring all that. Nicely done. To Mr. Peter thank you for a memorable dining experience. I am in the Restaurant POS business and I wouldn’t change anything at this time. The only time this may need to be addressed would be if you need to examine costs and profitability issues. The and only then would modern technology help you control those factors. Keep up the unique dining experience. I recommend Peter’s Steak House, Jensen Beach, Florida.

I am surprised by the mediocre reviews – this place is excellent. Like many others in the area, we moved down from NYC and this is the first truly great steak we’ve had. Also we loved that Peter himself was the one to welcome us in! Very old school. Reminded me of Peter Lugers. Definitely recommend!

What a great steakhouse in Jensen Beach. I had the strip my wife had the filet. Creamed spinach was good and we were able to split the Baked Potato. Good wine and finished off either their specialty apple strudel with ice cream

I really wish I could give a good review. For years, we have enjoyed dinners at Peter’s and often shared our assertions that it rivaled the best steakhouses in our state. Unfortunately, our last two visits have changed our minds. The first, we chalked up to a fluke – something was just off that night. But, we recently went back and found it to be even more disappointing than the previous visit. Things were bad from start to finish. The bread was inedible. The garlic bread was so pungent that the one taste we took never left our mouths…and we love garlic. The other rolls were dry and hard. The herring was bitter. (Although, the house salad was excellent.) The steaks were not cooked to order, despite our very specific requests and, quite frankly, neither was the quality one would expect in an $80 steak. The hash browns we used to love were so overcooked they had the texture of gravel. The brussel sprouts were quite nice, though.

What a amazing place and cool story. The service the atmosphere were only the tip of the iceberg. Once we were served that Porter house for two…I was speechless, both me and my Father (was a Father’s day and my birthday celebration) mainly because I was filling my mouth with the strip side of that amazing steak. Cold dry aged for 7-8 weeks, grain feed beef from Kansas or Colorado..it is exactly what beef is supposed to taste like .pure heaven. Being a Executive Chef the majority of my career I too pay attention to detail…and seeing the owner run the hostess stand , spec out tables , look at every dish coming out of the kitchen, bussing and doing table greets for every table sat… you know you’re in good hands .. he’s a master of his Craft and it shows. Awesome to see someone take such pride in a restaurant. Can’t wait to go back!

I am overwhelmed by the poor service we received last night. Our waitress never introduced herself, she made us feel rushed, she checked on us 1x, we had to hunt her down multiple times, dirty dishes were left on our table until we had to ask for them to be removed. My steak was sent back 2x, I ordered medium- it was pretty much only seared. The second time it was well overdone. NO Apologies. For the shrimp cocktail the sauce was pretty much 90% horseradish, I wasn’t able to get her attention to fix it, I just ate the shrimp without the sauce. On a positive note the rest of the food was very good. The Salmon special was fantastic. And the Keylime pie was delicious.

Food was delicious I got this 6oz. filet Mignon medium and it was great. My husband got the Wiener Schnitzel and he loved it. The venue needs updating for the price of the food and it took about 50 mins. The get the food.
