The food is always fresh and super tasty! I came for the lunch special and I’ve been hooked ever since. If you like caribbean food, you will love this spot. Very simple ascetic, but the food is amazing. I always get the jerk chicken and/or the curry chicken. The patties always sell out early. Tell them Sunja sent you!

I ran to this restaurant to get some ox tails and these ox tails are disgusting. I bought two plates and I wasted $50. I won’t be going back.

I was born and raised in Jamaica and I’m use to Good Food. I fail to believe that these people who are leaving reviews are true Jamaicans because if they are, they’re not use to good food at all. I went to this place to buy some ginger bulla which was ok in taste, I’ve had better but whatever….. I notice that they also sell food so I decided to try…. I bought some curried goat with rice and peas.. People I’m not joking or bashing this restaurant when I say this is was the worst curry I’ve ever had in my lifetime. No seasoning was on the goat… nothing at all. I don’t think that chef went to culinary school and I think he got up one day and decided to just throw food in pot and call it cooking. This curried goat had no flavor nor color. I feel as if he stayed across the street and throw the curry in the pot cause there was literally no curry on the goat. I was so turned off. The rice and peas had no flavor and it had a sour taste. One thing I must say though, the food was very hot. It’s not a lot of times you would go to a restaurant and get your food hot so I must give them credit for that. I am no chef but I know I would have done a way better job at that goat cause I’ve made it multiple times and I’ve always had good reviews. I’m gonna make it and bring a plate for the chef so he can see how it should look and taste. I would never ever buy from them again. Sorry not sorry.

The first time I got it it was okay , this last time was horrible. I spent 21$ on a plate just to throw it away. The ackee didn’t taste right. I will definitely have to keep look for some real authentic Jamaican food which is so hard to find these days

The service and atmosphere is descent family, but unfortunately the food is extremely bland. No flavor on the brown stew, and my plantains were burnt rock hard sadly my search for authentic Jamaica cuisine continues..

I always get the veggie plate with heavy gravy! Veggie patties and beef patties are delicious. The portion size is just right.

I decided to stop by here for lunch since I had the taste for Jamaican food and saw the great reviews. I was very ecstatic to see all the fish options and selected the escovitch since it’s one of my favorite Jamaican dishes. The tilapia is cheaper than the salmon and the snapper, which runs about $16 to $18, depending on the size. I ordered the tilapia for $9 and some change, which was a really good deal for escovitch. I also ordered the small serving, which was was quite a bit of food. The food was okay, not what I expected of escovitch but I do plan to return in try something else being that they have such great reviews. I also stopped by on Wednesday, which is when they have the patty deal but they were out of the veggie patties before noon and apparently don’t make the shrimp patties anymore. Everything is made in-house and the staff is extremely friendly. I definitely plan to return but try something different.

This food don’t taste like authentic Caribbean food. The gravy from oxtail taste like can/jar gravy. Not worth the money.
