We stopped to have a burger, because his place looked like an old car hop type place. Unfortunately, the intercoms did not work. However, the employee came promptly, took our order. And the owner came out to check on us while we were waiting for our food. They bring everything to you. And it was very tasty. I would recommend this for a drive up, burger joint. Everything was definitely homemade!

Very disappointing $40 experience for our family. The burgers were super greasy. The onion rings are sad shoe strings. The only thing that turned out okay was the catfish. However, the seafood platter was over priced for what you get, tons of fries. It was like a double large order of fries but barely any actual seafood. I might try the catfish again sometime but it was an overall pretty sad experience.

I heard this place had been in business since 1954 so I thought I would stop by and have some wonderful food since I’m from out of town. Big mistake. Oh I got the Bob’s char burger with char sauce which I’m not sure what that is and I didn’t have any of it anyway. The burger was big and looked very good but had basically no flavor at all. I also started to order A burrito until the lady told me that it was just a frozen one that you buy at the grocery store put in the microwave. So I elected to go with the chili dog instead. Another big mistake. The chili was good but the weenie was so hard and tough it was like it had the living life boiled out of it and then placed in a steam pan and left four hours. It was so tough the fork that I was given wouldn’t even cut it into so after breaking all of the prongs on the fork I went to the window and asked for a plastic knife. Did he eat a chili dog and ended up with a bad stomach ache. Had to throw the burger away after two bites since it was plain with no flavor or taste at all. Big disappointment for me hope others have a better experience. Kiliti looked ran down speakers didn’t work just look like the owners didn’t care anymore is might be tired since I’ve been there since 1954.

I asked before ordering if the meat was frozen/preformed or hand patted fresh. Was told fresh patted. Said the fries were curly. Reality:: wafer thin, generic, McDonald’s meat and frozen crinkle cut fries. For a 70yo place, I expected better (like I heard it used to be) like in most every other small town diner. Good luck lasting any longer.

Did a Doordash order from work and my burger literally had half a patty and my fries were cold. Very disappointed!
