When working on the road in Evansville we went here for lunch at least three times a week. It was the best value for your money the waiting staff is very friendly also the food is delicious and consistent every time we go. Very highly recommend!

Really like the food. Some things on the menu are hard to stay away from. Burgers are really good. Fish on Friday’s is great. Would be 5 stars but the interior is your hole in the wall old town bar. Smaller quarters, but it’s my kind of place. Not fancy, but have never had a problem with anyone in there. Bartenders and service are good during lunch and dinner. It does get busy on Friday night

The burgers are YUMMY!! The bartenders are good & The cook made my food to my specifications. I like a medium burger and that’s what I got!! The fish fry on Fridays is good also. Cod, walleye, shrimp…and with all the fixings. Highly recommended for the food!! Also they have a dj that plays on Saturday nights if that’s your thing

Wanted to get a fish fry order placed. They stated on a FB post that the were taking orders until 8 and that if the phone was busy to keep trying. After 210 calls (5-7pm) to the bar we were not able to get a hold of them. Wasnt able to try the food so I cant rate it but you would think a restaurant would want to come up with a better system (multiple phone lines? Online ordering? Accepting orders ahead of time-days in advance??)

My second time at Pete’s. Cheese burger after standing for hours in the rain at track meet was worth it ☺ The pepper jack cheese had a kick, the burger was hand “patted” from prime grade beef and the French fries were light and delicious. Kudos to Pete’s.
