I have enjoyed Pete’s kitchen since a jit, If you have never had the Pleasure of Pete’s hot pastrami combo you’re definitely missing out. For sure one of the best local joints around. Highly recommend to anyone! A staple in Mason city and great history posted all over the restaurant. Thank you Pete’s for consistently showing and bringing love to the community!

Pete is an excellent baker and makes everything homemade. I had the beef/lamb gyro, which was absolutely delicious. I also tried the pastrami, which was so good due to Pete’s homemade bread (it’ll remind you of your grandma’s homemade bread). Highly recommend! Support your small town businesses and quit eating so much McDonald’s folks. These are great people with great food and great prices!

Absolutely loved this place! Very friendly and the sandwiches were yummy! My husband had the pastrami sandwich and I had the sausage and marinara sandwich. We took home some carrot cake and an eclair for later. I recommend Pete’s Kitchen to anyone who wants good quality food that is all home made.
