Stop for lunch and had some wonderful tomato bisque soup and chicken avocado BLT. The soup was one of the best I have had and the chicken was perfectly seasoned, tender, juice and tastes great. Bread was fresh and toasted perfect. Highly recommend this place. Don’t be fooled by the 1 star reviews, they just wanted to use the bathroom, and like every large city, bathrooms are for customers.

I had Jury duty this week and had the opportunity to dine in on 2 occasions, Monday and today. Both times food has been amazing and staff has been great! Today, in particular, the server (Jennifer) was doing amazing. She was juggling the register, to go orders, serving, checking in on guests. She was doing it all and still super engaging and friendly! Will definitely recommend!

I work down the street and discovered this place a couple months ago. I usually get the small combination pizza. Very tasty with lots of toppings and cheese. I get a couple a couple lunches out of it. Last visit I ordered one of the Indian style pizzas. It was different, but very tasty. I will try the other two Indian pizzas as well. The young guy is at the register gives the best counter/table service I ever had. He even checks back to make sure everything is good. This is a place to make a regular lunch visit.

We drove up to Sac last minute to watch the basketball game and needed to find a place to eat before the game. We first went to the Japanese restaurant next door and the wait was ridiculous so we decided to come into Pete’s and everything about it was delightful. The staff were very attentive and warm and we were able to order quickly. We had the pretzel bun beef sliders, the garlic fries, and a Caesar salad with chicken. Very pleasantly surprised! Everything was delicious. I usually find that grilled chicken on a salad can be dry but their chicken was moist and very tasty. The pretzel bun on the little cheeseburger really elevated it and was a very nice touch to the slider. Loved the garlic fries. Would recommend to everyone!
