We went here for our anniversary. The food was delicious! We both ordered a filet with a glass of wine. Crab cake appetizer was very good. The cakes were on the smaller side for the price. But still very flavorful. Staff was super friendly and attentive!

The scrumptious food may only have been overshadowed by the ambience and the loveliness of my date. I like a medium rare steak with just a hint of char and mine was perfect. The spinach was so flavorful that it may have been my favorite thing. That is a sentence I never imagined writing. It was just that good. My date loved her petit pork shank with plum sauce. They know it is tender when they don’t even bring you a knife. Of course we shared, and though I was incredibly happy with my choice, I will absolutely try the pork shank, next time. We both mentioned how delightful the setting was. Not too dark or too bright. Which must be a challenge for some places. So, if you are looking for a romantic table with excellent food or a place to visit with close friends, I highly recommend.

The restaurant is located just off a right turn from N Walton boulevard and it’s a little difficult to locate especially if driving at night. I would suggested to pay attention when you are a quarter mile away. It’s a cozy little place with great food and wine. The menu is simple but it’s difficult to choose as everything seems appetizing. We ordered the lamb and the swordfish and loved both of them. The couscous served with the swordfish in a light Cajun cream reduction was somewhat like a comfort food and i would go back for it. They also suggested the paired wine and it totally made the evening. The ambience makes it a great place for a long conversation with good food. As of desserts, the bread pudding was good but the starter and entree set up a huge standard and i felt it could be better. The cheesecake was exactly what we expected. Little expensive but worth spending sometime for the whole experience. Reserving a table in advance is recommended.

What a cute little hidden treasure! Tucked in a quite little spot. Intimate and cozy. They have inside and outside seating … although the patio portion was closed off when we went. There is a small bar area that was comfy. The drinks were good. The Brie cheese and bread was amazing perfectly melted!! We ordered the swordfish and the pesto chicken pasta. The pesto chicken pasta was awesome! The swordfish was good it came with a sauce that was good also. Food didn’t take very long to come out. Service was good. A little pricey but good food and good portions.

Went to celebrate an event. We can ordered the Tuna Tartare, Duck, Scallops, Swordfish, Filet special and pasta. All of the meats were FANTASTIC! The best filet I have had in years. Scallops cooked perfectly (but had red pepper on top which was overpowering). The owner is a great host and made the night all that more enjoyable.

Dinner only by reservation. Extremely quaint building and amicable staff. Temperature was perfect compared to the cold outside. Long wine list. The caprese appetizer was devoured before pictures were taken; fresh tomato and arugula on mozzarella chunks drizzled with balsamic. The wine was Elouan pinot noir from Oregon; reputedly excellent. Three folks had filet mignon with buttered spinach and seasoned potato chunks; I had Lebanese lamb chops with couscous and grilled zuccuni and squash. All was very delicious with an occasional oversalty bite (thus the 4-star). The creme brulee was excellent, and the caramel cheesecake was drizzled with chocolate and garnished with blackberries and sliced strawberries. The wait time for the food was average, and the parking was sufficient for a converted old home. Petit Bistro is the perfect location for a planned romantic or celebratory dinner. I think I will try the osso buco next time, or maybe even the swordfish.
