The design on this restaurant is very well done. It’s feels old, lived in and cozy in a great way.

A worthy stop for the neighborhood and a fairly decent French restaurant for the city. Some items definitely seem pricey. The burger isn’t and is impressively good.. fries have a kick! Also go during the half off wine bottle special for patio seating. The snail puff pastry is a cool take on ordering escargot. Desserts are standard.

Dined last week at the new Petite Patate and thoroughly enjoyed my night. The service is always friendly & welcoming at Greg’s restaurants and PP is no different. The escargot, and steak frites were the standouts as both were outstanding! (And I don’t know what they do to the fries, but they are perfectly crispy and addictive) the burger was ok (I’d say the bun was over toasted and maybe missing something) but I’d chalk that off as a minor mistake and isn’t a reflection of the food overall as the salad and profiteroles were so also very good. There are a handful of wines available on tap, white, orange and red which were all great, and they make a great martini. I am definitely looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu.

Petite Patate, a new French bistro in Brooklyn, is definitely worth checking out. I had a fantastic experience with my meal of French onion soup, duck liver pate with beets, mussels, and a carrot & pea crepe. As for drinks, we ordered a glass of red wine and a negroni. They are not as exciting, but decent. The prices are moderate and the service is friendly. I highly recommend giving this spot a try.

Petite Patate was doing a collab with the Paris restaurant Verjus, i think most of the dishes I liked more were from Verjus, with the exception of the escargot which was so buttery and flavorful, the hubby wanted a second round (even though I loved it I thought it was too salty to eat more). The appetizers like some chickpea tacquito were interesting and good, although I don’t crave it again.

Definitely not bad food, but overpriced.

Our burgers were out of this world. My mom said it was the first time she hadn’t used ketchup on a burger — none of us had. The gravy was such a nice compliment. And Sergio was lovely. We’ll be back — happy to have it in the neighborhood.

Flavours were good, but overpriced for the size/quality. The $24 burger was a very skimpy sized patty that had an “almost too perfect to be made in house” look. Escargot: tasty, but had maybe 4 in the order. Broccolini was simple, well cooked and tasty. Profiteroles: generous portion, but was gelato (not ice cream), and a very cheap tasting chocolate sauce. Attentive service at least, and charming interior.

Came here on a Saturday evening. Got seated at the bar right away. The space is charming and romantic. . I ordered the Steak and Frites which came out damn near at the blink of an eye. I asked for medium which it was prepared at the perfect temperature BUT it was chewy and hard as hell to cut into. My wife got the mussels which in my opinion should’ve been on the appetizer menu just based on the small portion that came out. They seem make up for quality with speed (it wasnt busy), Even some of the drinks are pre-made and available on tap. Cool neighborhood spot to “try” but definitely not to go back to.
