Nice place to drop in for a bite to eat and drink. Inside is a bit on the dark side for me but they have outdoor seating in good weather. Not a fan of their turkey burgers but hamburgers are excellent. Soft drink are from Pepsi if that matters to you. Generous portions.

I stopped by Petrock’s Bar & Grille for lunch in Hillsborough NJ. I had the perogies and cheeseburger. I have to admit, I was surprised to see the total came to $29 for those two items. The perogies were $11 and came with 4 perogies to an order. There was more onion than perogie. The burger was decent but came on a multigrain/oat bun. It was not what I was expecting and let me down. The best thing was the french fries. I wish I could have enjoyed this spot more.

It was not their best day from the kitchen to the manager. Tia waitress was amazing. We have been there a few times and the last two times were rough. The pricing is high for the quality of food that’s given. Maybe it will be better next time if we go back again. That’s still up in the air….

I ordered lettuce, tomato, and onions with my burger.. It was a good burger and it came with onions but they didn’t add the lettuce or tomato. I ordered a drink whiskey and ginger ale. The drink was watery and weak. So, I ordered the same drink but a double shot…. 2 shots in the 1 glass. But what they gave me was the same drink… in a tall glass?

Walked into the bar area and waited to be seated. Not very busy, 6:30 pm on a Monday. A few staff members looked at me, said nothing. Others avoided me altogether. A gentleman at the bar was laughing at how ridiculous it was that no one would even acknowledge me. Waited about 5 minutes and walked out. I’d say some employee training is in order. OMRs instead…staff greeted me immediately as you would expect anywhere. The experience was a 1 star, the other 2 stars were just to be nice. Good luck to Petrock’s…with service like that, they’re going to need it!

Went there this evening. Very empty and extremely slow service by a server who seemed clearly hostile. Not only was my husband’s $21 sandwich about half the size it used to be but for my sandwich, listed as $16 on every menu (online and on paper), I was charged $19.50. My daughter’s Pizza was doughy and runny. She ate half of one piece. I get inflation and everything and I’m willing to pay more if the food is good and service is as well but since that’s not the case we’re not going back.
