I have driven past this place a couple times and finally checkout their website and saw they had vegetarian and vegan options! I was so excited to try some vegan chili and when I saw that the petro cup is basically a Frito Pie I kinda went nuts. Pulled in and got a vegan Baja Petro cup and a vegan potato. Incredible! The chili was so good. My daughter loved the potato (which was huge) and my wife and I tore the chili up. I can’t stress how good it was! I do wish they had better hot sauce options. They only have Texas Pete, which is fine, it’s just not spicy. If they got a super hot hot sauce, It would have been a perfect experience.

Have wanted to check this place out since it opened. It is nothing special- the prices however are ridiculously high for what you get. We ordered two grilled chicken nachos and two sodas- $25. No big deal if the nachos are loaded with toppings and flavorful. I don’t mind paying for good food! However, this was not the case. See the photo to see- I had only eaten a few chips- the toppings that came with the order really hadn’t been disturbed.

Petro’s catering is wonderful. We chose to use them for my son’s rehearsal dinner because of all their vegetarian options. HUGE baked potatoes and Petros with all the fixings! I was very pleased. When I visit the store, I always receive fast, courteous service!!

I usually get the Original Petro because I love the fresh toppings and I can get extra black olives. But I was craving a good hot dog last week so ran through Petros for a slaw dog. Service was fast and all beef hot dog was perfect! Finished it off with a fresh fruit cup and Sunshine Tea. Everything was yummy!!!

Petros is such a nostalgic food for me. Growing up we would always get them at any UT games or I would drive two hours during college to get one with friends. To say I was excited when I saw a location had opened in Chattanooga is an understatement. I have been to many petro locations and this one is by far the best! The staff is so friendly and everything always comes out looking amazing! They have a very loyal customer in me!

I have eaten at the Hixson location several times. The food and the customer service has always been top notch. Recently I even catered an event with Petros. They came in, set everything up, and were so kind and friendly. If you are looking for an easy way to feed a crowd with food everyone will love, I highly recommend calling Petros.

Disappointed. Third time going to this location and things have drastically changed since they first opened. My “large” was in a regular foam container and not even half filled. I even had added ingredients. I ate it and still as hungry as before. Disappointed and ripped off!
