Staff greeted us in a swift and polite manner. Server was very knowledgeable about the menu options for brunch, bar staff came over to engage with our party to educate our party on drink options. Our party enjoyed fried catfish which was fresh, seasoned to perfection and garnished with lemon and house made hot sauce. Lamb burger was cook to desired temperature and taste absolutely delicious. Grilled shrimp was served with chimichurri and cooked right. Our party was very impressed. Brunch on Monday by Chef Cocoa was great

Loved everything about our experience on my birthday! We came for brunch and had reservations. Although the rain I think kept them not too busy on this particular Saturday. Clean environment, can see some of the kitchen/prep area. The vibe was great, music was great. Food was way better than expected based on previous reviews! Pancakes were perfect and fluffy. Potatoes were seasoned perfectly, I love onions and peppers too. The eggs were cooked how I like them! The waitress was pleasant. The bartender came and had a birthday shot for/with me! Next time I’m in Detroit, definitely going to try their dinner!

I loved the ambiance of the place, and even though I was alone, I didn’t feel like that even for a second. Everyone was so friendly, and there was so much happening that I was soon integrated with other patrons. I tried their Cornish hen with fennel confit, corn bread with white bean soup with pesto, and everything tasted delicious , much much better than I had expected. Will definitely recommend it.

The food here is amazing! A must try item on their menu are the lamb ribs. They are so delicious. The service has improved from the first time I tried petty cash. I love it, it’s going to be my new go to restaurant.

Finally got to try this place out with a friend. Nice interior and vibe. Service was good. Food was decent but not a wow for me at the price point I paid. Had the kale caesar and the hot honey fried mushrooms which were good, though I would have liked a bit more dressing on the salad. I went for the lamb ribs while my friend got the lobster risotto. Again, both dishes were good. I got the lemon leches cake for dessert…pretty standard lemon cake. My City on Fire cocktail was tasty. I also had an ok glass of Pinot noir (Erath winery).

Food was just ok. Very pricey. We order brisket burger, fries, kale salad, wings, ox tail tacos and the lobster risotto. The fries came after we recieved all of our food. The risotto lacked flavor (perhaps white wine added to the risotto would have kicked it up a notch). The wings had a funny smell and were also just ok. Would not go back for food. Maybe for happy hour and drinks. The music was good

Great experience at Petty Cash. The mushroom dish was fantastic, the atmosphere super chill, and I like the location. I wish there was more parking but I understand with a limited lot size.
