This cart has some amazing yakisoba and fried rice! The portion size is incredible and the food, delicious. With prices ranging from $8 to $15, I consider them quite affordable. Everything is made to order by just the one man operating the cart, so expect a small wait. But it is well worth the time! The cart operator, Peter, is very nice and even made me 2 dishes 30 minutes after closing time! I’m only mildly embarrassed to admit I haven’t tried much else to eat… YET. But if these dishes are any indication, it will be a wonderful experience to look forward to.

I highly recommend the Yakisoba Chicken! I appreciate the hearty portions and conversation that Ping provides. Ive been going here for years and really wish that more people knew about it. Other food carts are a ripoff compared to this one. Trust me when I say that you truly get your moneys worth here.

Really solid Chinese food. It is made fresh to order and it quick too. The guy taking orders and making the food is really nice. After seeing reviews I’ll be trying the black bean chicken next time but this was good solid comfort food. Definitely worth checking out if you are in downtown.

Honestly a super solid Chinese food cart. It’s unassuming, and relatively unknown imo. However, the portion sizes are great, the prices are very good, and the food is always super delicious. Always cooked to order by a super nice guy. I think the only reason that there isn’t a line around the corner is people don’t know about it. If you’re around and want some good chinese food, give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Had a craving for sushi. Only had 15 min between busses. Thank you Google and thank you PFE! Only in Portland would I find sushi at a food cart, so conveniently located along my commute!

PFE Chinese was my favorite food truck in Portland for all the years I lived in Portland. Peter who owns and operates the truck does an excellent job and is very friendly. My favorite was his General Tso’s Chicken which he had a special recipe that no other Chinese restaurant has been able to match. Wish he would ship to where I live now because nothing beats his cooking.

I’ve known this place for a little over more than a year. Its one of the best places for yakisoba noodles and you get so much for $9. Also the sushi is pretty good. The man who makes the food is so friendly and asks how spicy you want it. Overall, best place to get tons of food for a good price.
