I had the pleasure of dining here a few months ago. Unfortunately my husband died and i havent had a chance to review it properly. It was our first visit here . It was about an hour to closing and they were very accommodating . At tht time the lightning was too good outside so we had trouble finding it ( update : they have added better lightning)

The food is delicious and seasoned perfectly. Get ready to eat because this is legit! The pictures are: Philly Cheesesteak Po Boy (to go), gumbo, fried porkchop sandwich, and kid’s shrimp. The music adds to the experience as well. All around great experience and we will come back again!

First time visiting this spot. Took my babies from Houston to Sunday brunch. I had the shrimp and grits and let me just say Phat Mama’s Kajun Kitchen got it right. Somebody in that kitchen knows how to cook. It was delicious and can’t wait for the next time. Get there early. And the blue drink, mimosa Flight gotta try it.

I did takeout & ordered the seafood cup of gumbo it was very oily & watery , And I also ordered the seafood potato it was very delicious only had shrimp though my experience was great I just don’t recommend the gumbo

It’s a superb pleasure when you walk in the door you’re welcomed ! My granddaughter has been Super Excited & Wanting to Meet PHAT MAMA , so my husband wanted red beans for tonight “u know I’m not cooking” lol so Phat Mama’s special today was Red Beans Rice, Cornbread, Yams, Chicken Wings (granddaughter will eat them) so what me and Nana’s girl do ? ️ head on out to PHAT MAMA’S KITCHEN . It’s the greatest experience . Nana’s girl even got the opportunity to take a pic with PHAT MAMA herself . This is a great , family oriented business that serves QUALITY, AFFORDABLE food & SERVICE with a smile . I highly Recommend if you’re ever in the area to stop by and say Hi & try a lunch special or something ! If you’re NOT planning to be in the area then I highly recommend you PLAN to go for a visit . Oh an if you do “be sure to let me know I’ll come with ya !” Lol

Seafood nachos below average shrimp looked str8 out the bag. My etouffee potatoes with catfish on top was good and creamy but my dear the catfish was awful. Well it was burnt and/or grease was old. The flavor lemonade was trash. If I cant get a refill make sure it’s because of the fresh squeezed lemonade not out the machine stuff. The service was great though.
