Placed an order online. Pickup was suppose to be at 7:30. Gave them a few extra minutes. Arrived 7:45. Said we don’t have a order that came online. I showed the guy that could be less concerned the conformation on my phone. Well, guess what he found the order. I asked so it’s not ready? He said no, be 30 min. I asked for a refund, told me he couldn’t do that, I would have to come back and talk to the owner. Called a couple of times owner was never there. So I hope you enjoyed screwing me out of that 20 bucks!

I ordered a bacon cheeseburger. The bacon is burnt to the point it ruins the entire burger. The patty is over cooked & dry. I usually ask for my food to be corrected but I already waited 20 minutes just for a burger & I didn’t get a receipt. I’m not upset because the cook & cashier look & sound like children. I just wasted $10 bc this is going on the garbage. This was my first time & I won’t be back.

The lady at the counter was nice and doing the best she could under the circumstances (her help “the cook” was MIA)! Catfish tasted like it was fried in old grease, the fries were cold and the Phat salad was missing items that were included on the menu. The place could stand a good cleaning. Would not return or recommend.

I should have checked my order before I pay for it.The 2 piece catfish fillet. The fish was so small and they gave me alot fries with the order to cover up the size of the fish. The 2 piece catfish fillet, look likes a kids meal. I been going to the place for over 12 years. It was better when the old man ran the place. Never again.

I’m new to the area; as of yesterday morning, as a matter of fact. What a GREAT WAY to be WELCOMED TO TEXAS than my experience here. I decided to stop at the Little Ceasars next door just to get something quick. I asked my nephew about this place because he’s been here for five years. He said he wasn’t familiar with it. While waiting for my pizza, I sawca going lady in her car outside waiting for someone. I caught her before leaving and asked if she frequented Phat Matt’s and she said, “Oh YES MAM! Quite often and you should try it!” So I did … I was NOT disappointed … to say the least! The service was AWESOME! The gentleman who took my order was VERY FRIENDLY and with a sense of humor! And the food …. Oh my goodness!!! I decided on catfish nuggets and fries. Even the tarter sauce wasn’t just an average tartar sauce. It had a kick to it. I loved every single bite and WILL BE RETURNING soon. I’m big on GREAT customer service, and this was it AND SOME! I couldn’t have gotten off to a better start with my new beginning here in Texas!

Convenient location: pizza, wings, and barbecue all on the same strip, reasonable prices. I was picking up a pizza for my brother at Lil Ceasars, and decided to grab some wings (lemon pepper)then went next door to Rays barbecue to get a desert. My wings were small and had no lemon pepper flavoring at all the fries underneath the wings didn’t even have that hint of lemon flavor to them (they were good. The shop looked visibly clean till I looked at the glasses by the bar, they were dull, the floor was swept but sticky and the tables were clean. I wasn’t thrilled with my wings, IF I go back it would be to try something else.

Literally went in there to place an order and two teenage boys were in there being extremely disrespectful. Both thought it was funny to laugh and do their best not to look at me nor take my order. One even put his headphones in while the other stared at the tv as hard as he could. As I walked out, they both burst out laughing as if it was funny. I really wanted to try this place…guess I’ll never get the chance because I’ll never return again due to the disrespect.

They have lost a frequent customer! The first time I got home with my take-out order and discovered very hard overcooked fish, I did not report the issue. Though I was thoroughly disappointed, I simply scraped most of the hard coating off and proceeded to eat the fish. This time I was given burnt fries with my order. I was not going to let it ride a 2nd time since this place is not cheap. I was told to return for a fresh order. When I returned to the store with the burnt fries I was met with very poor customer service. They literally have untrained unprofessional “kids” cooking the food and running the store. I will never patronize this place again.
