Oh my they were ask to wear gloves when preparing food notice they weren’t ask them again became very rude and to my disbelief after the sandwich was prepared he actually brought the sandwich to the window and throw it in the window opening wouldn’t not believe it all because ask to wear gloves when preparing food. Very disrespectful. And myself didn’t enjoy the sandwich don’t consider it a sub bread flat sub wasn’t fore filling with meat at all. Have had frozen subs much better.

So I go by here cause with a name like Phat Phillies you’d expect it to have a good Philly Cheese steak. Nope. Wasn’t pleased at all. Brown lettuce tomato not fresh at all. Only good thing I can say is the bread was soft and decent. Made my first and last trip here all at once.

The Cheesesteak and fries were great! The could have gotten 5 stars. Just got back from the OBX and had an amazing cheesesteak down there and had been craving one since! This was a very very close runner up! However if you want warm and fuzzy service this NOT your place! But I’d rather the energy go into my food anyways!

The lake trout is scrumptious and good size for the money , definitely will continue to frequent this place, and another thing I like about them is, if you fail to ask for condiments, they automatically put everything that goes with your meal in your bag.”Hats off to Phat Phillies”!!!!!! The food is good but the owners are kind of petty for people that spend their money with them. For example I order a sub and ask him can he put jalapeno peppers on the side, his response is we don’t put anything on the side everything must go on the sandwich . If I’m spending $10 of my money you can’t give me two or three little slices of jalapeno peppers?????? on the side cuz that’s all I really need it I didn’t want

Hood take out place, I’d call it generally Italian plus fried chicken. Me and dad had ok phillies, but no peppers, onions or mushrooms. Fries with standard food service fries. Best thing about it is it’s close to the interstate.
