Absolutely the best brisket I have ever eaten and I have eaten a lot. Tell the truth for the past several years I have avoided bbq joints because most of the meat was overcooked, dry and tough. The sides they offer are unique and extremely delicious. If you live real BBQ then this is the place!!! Reasonable price and high quality.

THIS IS WHY YOU SHOULD STOP AT THIS PLACE: Very Authentic, Genuine, delicious and beautiful food!!! I ordered a 2-Meat BBQ Plate, which for me consisted of Brisket and Pork Ribs, with potato salad & pinto beans as my sides. I was VERY impress when I received my food. Their brisket was astonishingly moist and tender. BEST BRISKET I’ve ever had in my whole life!!! We’ve all had our share of those sad side-of-the-road joints that promise you your best plate, but fall short by delivering brisket that more resembles 2 week old meatloaf that’s so dry you could skin your potatoes with it being so rough. Well let me tell you, THIS brisket was of no such breed! I thoroughly enjoy how flavorful this meal was, and how I barely had to touch the complimentary sauce included. My husband and I come to Beavers Bend State park each year. And finally came down to Idabel to try this place on Saturday 7/30/22. Got the 2 meat combo. So DELICIOUS!!! Good portions and price! Definitely will come back. Had get to go box.

I was driving from Houston to Ft Smith and decided to stop for lunch….this place had like a 4.3 rating at the time and another place nearby had a 4.7 so I decided to skip Phat Tabbs. As luck would have it the other place was closed so I reluctantly looped back and holy cow I’m glad I did. This is the best BBQ I’ve ever had. Literally melt in your mouth brisket with perfect bark and that yellowish amazingly rendered down fat. This is the stuff dreams are made of….the sausage and loaded potato salad were pretty solid as well. Been trying to come up with an excuse to go back ever since!

We were traveling through Idabel and was looking for a good BBQ joint when we came across this gem off the highway. This is possibly the best BBQ I have ever ate! But it’s not your traditional BBQ, it’s better! They take the foundations of traditional BBQ and elevated it to a whole new level.
