Their hu tieu is really one of the best. I’m surprised the rating us so low. This one and the one in the Lion Plaza food court have the two best Nam Vang style in the city.

I went here for lunch this past Sunday for the first time. The family had Nam Vang noodle which was just ok, maybe 3 star +. There are definitely better ones in San Jose. The quantity was quite small for almost $17 a bowl. Now the service part. One word – TERRIBLE. The waiter looked like he just woke up and p-ssed off coming to work. No smile, dreadful face, did not look like he cared what you want, did not deliver utensil when asked until you asked again. No word of sorry. Then the cashier. Almost ripped me off an extra $30 if I did not pay attention to the bill. He was about to charge me $86 for $57 bill. One problem and not sure if they purpose do this was that they had the table number mixed up in the cashier system. I sat on table #24 which in the system had the extra high bill when my corrected receipt was table #21. Apparently, the food was ordered and delivered correctly based on table #24 but not the cashier. So be super careful checking the bill when eating at this place as you can be paying a lot more than what you ordered. Fyi, for a Sunday afternoon 12-1pm lunch, the place was only <1/3 full. That should be a sign to not eat there. My first and last time here.

I’ve eaten at this restaurant a few times and THIS time will be my last. We ate there at noon on a Thursday for a table of 4. As we were all eating, I felt something tickling my baby toe then as I looked down, this giant rat non- chillantly sniffing for food crawled accross the under table.

Perfections
Now when you order the special with soup they won’t give you the meat with bone you have to order they dry. I wish they would’ve let me know about this first instead of bring me the soup with the best part of the soup left out.
