This was my first time at Philay’s and everything was absolutely amazing! I had a shrimp and lima bean baked potato that was so creamy and delicious. My friend had shrimp alfredo with a side of mashed sweet potatoes. She said she never had a meal she enjoyed so much. She had been there before a long time ago and said that the food was “definitely better on a whole new level”. (her words) Our server, Julienne, was sweet, attentive, helpful and knowledgeable. I could see that she was that way with her other tables as well. I will definitely be back soon and often, and will tell others about it! (Sorry the picture isn’t better! Didn’t take it till I had mixed it all up! I promise it was presented beautifully!)

Not what I expected deep fried shrimp came to the table Luke warm like that cooked them before anything else my boyfriend got a roast beef sandwich in gravy on a sub roll it was shredded mixed in gravy & he had to eat it with a fork & knife prices ok but I won’t return

Seafood gumbo and 1/2 shrimp poboy was perfect. Fried shrimp falling out of the poboy. Bread was fresh and soft just as I like it. Quick service and polite servers. Looking forward to returning and trying something else.

Our church group went and we enjoyed it so much. Our server was a lovely young lady with a smile that never stopped. She is working, going to school and taking care of family, she was so delightful. The food was superb, cooked perfect, taste was so good, and portions are good. Give this place a try. Local as well.
