There needs to be a name for this sort of restaurant that is particular to the Region/Chicago. Falling somewhere between fast food like Arby’s and the ubiquitous Greek diner with 10-page menus, you can get just about anything you crave. As long as it fits on a bread roll or can go in the deep fryer, that is. Good quick eats at reasonable prices. Make sure to check the specials under the counter!

This is your classic American grill. They got all the good stuff that can be cooked up on a griddle. It’s counter service, the food is cooked to order and comes out hot. The portions are overly generous. If burgers, gyros, Phillys, dogs and sausages aren’t your thing, Tia Taco is connected to it and you can get you Mexican fixins there.

This was the Nastiest “Philly Chicken “ sandwich EVER tasted! The meat tasted burnt, the Chicken (if it was chicken) looked liked burnt beef. IDK where these 5star reviews are coming from, I’m guessing the kids that are purchasing this food really just don’t know any better! ♀️
