If you love BBQ and have never tried Phil’s, um dats weird but for real, it’s pretty yummy! They have happy hour from 3 to 6 pm with a full bar. Happy hour includes $4 onion rings and/ fries, some other food options and $5 cocktails including signature cocktails. I got a fancy mudslide. It was pretty yummy! The ribs are always good. But for some reason, they seemed slightly different from when we had them in the past. I remember them being more amazing but they were still delicious. They even allow pets!

Wonderful famous local BBQ restaurant. Phil’s have total of three locations here in San Diego and this location is my favorite! BBQ here is better and staff are awesome. Great service every time at the bar area. The bar area here is very spacious with multiple TVs for sports viewing. Great Happy Hour deals during the weekdays. Highly recommended place if you happen to be in the area!

Prices increased an insane amount from last year. The 6-7 baby ribs used to be $17, but now they’re a whopping $26. Decent BBQ, the ribs were okay but didn’t have a lot of meat on them. I’ve tried baby back ribs that had way more meat. The seasoning was also average. The sausage link is just a normal sausage – a bit too salty and not worth getting again. Fries were good, and the potato salad was okay. Keep in mind parking is pretty tough during weekends and peak hours.

Phil’s BBQ was on point! This BBQ place was worth the money and try. I got the BBQ Chicken and the sweet cornbread. My chicken was soft, savory, nutty, with sweet and tangy BBQ sauce. The fries were crispy and the cornbread was warm and moist. I would love to eat here again. Service was helpful and good. Highly recommended.

Love this place! Its baby back rib hits out spot as always. We usually order one full rib dinner with their two sides – the smoky flavor and their bbq sauce are our favorite.

Mixed bag. For starters this was mine and my fiancée’s first time at a Phil’s BBQ. We decided to come for father’s day to celebrate with her parents and I had heard of Phil’s before but never been since our time in SD. The wait was not bad (small line, less than 15 min) and we ordered the family meal and found a seat.

You want BBQ, then Phil’s is the place to go! The quality of their food is worth the price you pay, and the turnover time to get your food is pretty quick. While eating their food with unlimited refills of their fountain drinks, you can enjoy watching sports events at their regular dining area or at the bar as well. Will 10/10 recommend this place to eat!

Food is always tasty. However today my beef bone was a bit tougher than I remembered. The slaw was yummy.

Had the beef ribs today for the first time. Very good. I will get them from now on. Bring your appetite. Only 3 bones but a lot of meat on them. Sausages are excellent as well.
