Nice place with nice folks. We got some ribs, bisket and pulled pork. The ribs were OK but not that tender. They have kind of sweet coating which some us liked but some of us prefer more of a smoke bark. The brisket and pulled pork were quite good. Beans were OK and very.basic. Corn bread was also OK.

Fantastic food at a fantastic price. The reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is lack of selection. I understand having a smaller menu and doing it better, but that needs to be balanced out. I have a friend I cannot go here with because he can’t eat meat, other barbecue restaurants in the area have a larger selection of sides that he could order. However, if you are a meat eater like me, absolutely try this place out!

Phil’s is a true marvel of southern barbecue in an inauspicious trailer hidden away in Milford. The ribs are gigantic, smoked, & seasoned to near perfection. The pulled pork is a satisfying blend of smoky char and tender juicyness that speaks of the care and patience taken with every batch. Warm greetings & smiling service give this simple foodie haven the ideal atmosphere and will keep me coming back time and time again. Please, don’t change a thing!

I’m not a bbq hipster but I am fat and love bbq, this place is the best I’ve found in NH or even parts of VT. The brisket, pulled pork and corn bread are my favorites and so good. Buy a meal you get a lot for the money or grab the by the pound meat you can’t go wrong.

Stopped to try the Brisket. Had to pay more than what a half pound would be. Brisket was a little dry seing the fat had been trimmed. I could taste the pepper but the salt was light (no fat). It was good but I’ve had better.

If you’re ever in Milford make it a point to stop. This place is as “hole in the wall” as you can get. The beef brisket is amazing. The portions are friendly, the prices don’t hurt. Check it out.

Just delicious barbecue. Great for takeout, but there is a nice little lawn area with picnic tables as well. Highly recommend the burnt ends with one of their homemade sauces.
