Gf and I were in the area due to a wedding decided to look for a good pho spot. Was not disappointed, seriously good pho. I got a large chicken pho; the broth is delicious, and the portions are great! If I’m ever back in that area I’ll be back!

Thanks to my daughter’s love for noodles, We’ve gone to every pho restaurant in Newport News just to try out each one. We now exclusively eat at Pho 83. Their broth is THE BEST. We refuse to eat anywhere but here. The restaurant is small which gives it a homelike feel and The staff are ALWAYS on point when it comes to serving the customers. Pho 83 hands down has the best flavor than any Pho restaurant we have tried.

Simple and neat decoration. The taste of pho is not that thick but it’s also pretty good. The soup could be hotter when served since that is the spirit of a bowl of hot soup noodles… Bubble tea was also good but a bit sweet…. One thing that really push me to give it 5 stars is that they provide a lot of vegetarian selections… This is not often seen in a pho restaurant…. Very considerate…

Great Pho, I come here often over the Pho79s as they are charging sushi restaurant prices for an inexpensive meal back in Vietnam. Chili oil and sriracha are always available at every table. But yes only issue which is out of their control is the bar next door with bikers and homeless sitting outside of the liquor store.

Food and service were great! My server was really friendly. The only ding is her being an unprofessional gossips. She would discuss other customers (even ones who were present but waiting for togo) negatively. She even discussed how other adults/children have misbehaved or were really dirty to another family who was eating. That makes me uncomfortable to go back if she’s just going to gossip about my presence if I were to ever “mess up” as a customer.
