The ambiance was kind of like a sports bar with beer signs and souju bottles as decoration. It smelled overwhelmingly like body order but was probably onions etc. And the servers were in street clothes.

We passed Bakersfield and found this place by accident along the way of our road trip. It turned out a pretty good place. Pho is served in stylish bow and tastes great. Interior has a nice sense of style and decor, not like a typical Vietnamese restaurant. Wait staff was nice. I would recommend.

The pho itself was simply amazing. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the meat and noodles were cooked to perfection. It was obvious that a lot of care and attention went into every dish, and I truly appreciated the attention to detail. Overall, I highly recommend this pho 88 to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. The food, service, and atmosphere are all top-notch, and I can’t wait to come back again soon!”

This place is in a quiet area and kind of hidden. I tried this place because it was recommended to me for pho in Bakersfield. 3/10 pho was okay. The chicken tasted old and reheated the pho was pretty basic and didn’t have much of an authentic long boiled pho taste like it should’ve been.

Pho88 is one of my favorite places for Pho! Their Shrimp spring rolls are so good!! Service can sometimes be a little slow but I think like in many places, they’re finding it hard to hire people so you can’t hold it against, they do a great job at keeping their patrons happy and it’s worth the wait!

Just because there is only one star I gave a star. If I didn’t even need to rate this embarrassment of a business, it wouldn’t even receive a quarter of a star. Customer service sucks, they do not care for your business and are very rude. Long wait time and never were attended. I wouldn’t even bring my dog to eat here.

Delicious, Cozy and the waitress that was by herself was handling very well! Don’t add anything to the broth it is perfect the way it comes aside from the basil and sprouts and a lil squeeze of lemon is recommended but it can go with out it. Delicious noodles were perfect I even got an extra Side of them the meatball, steak and brisket hit the SpOT! I love this place and I’m a hard critic!
