Do yourself a favor and visit Pho 89. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in our mouths, generous portions. The Beef Pho is outstanding. The broth is very rich and flavorful. You should also try their Ca Nuong, which is fantastic. Skin is roasted to perfection, and the meat is juicy. Absolutely the best Vietnamese cuisine we had while in MA. Highly recommend!

One of those cold days, where you want to grab a hot bowl of pho, definitely stop by Pho 89! I’ve been coming here for years and it’s a place that’s consistent with food with great service. A wide variety of traditional Vietnamese dishes and dessert options. Their pho always comes out piping hot and it has such a rich and savory flavor you can’t resist. I also got their Vietnamese shaved ice that’s has a coconut milk base with red bean, jelly, and nuts. It’s a great dessert if you have a light sweet craving, but don’t want anything too heavy.

I’m a regular at pho 89. The service is usually always good. They recently have had new employees which are some of the girls and I haven’t experienced the best customer service from them. Overall the customer service, the food and the atmosphere is a 10!! I always get the shrimp and chicken summer rolls and the pho beef strip soup. Also, they did change the Sriracha sauce. It’s like they added tomato sauce inside. It’s a no for me. I always substitute peanut sauce because I’m allergic. The fried twin lobster is very good. It does get very packed inside. I also know there was a new owner and I’ve had my friends tell me some of the food isn’t the same as before.

Pho 89 is a hidden gem in Randolph. Service is fast. Staffs are friendly. The women restroom is clean. We ordered Hot sweet and sour cat fish soup (Canh Chua Cá) and Caramelized catfish and pork (cá kho tộ). The food came in large portion and was flavorful. We will definitely come back whenever we crave Vietnamese authentic food!

Absolutely love this place! The staff are always friendly and welcoming and the food is fantastic. The food comes out super quick even when busy. Their pho sate is one of my favorite meals. They have an extensive menu with tons of options and their prices are very reasonable. The quality of the food is always 10/10.

November 2022- This place is a reminder that there are still a few good Vietnamese restaurants left in the Boston area, even with Dorchester not being what it used to be. Generous portions of fresh prepared ingredients. No, Vietnamese food is not among the cheapest any more, but nothing really is, nowadays.

I had such a great experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious and I couldn’t believe how quickly it arrived at our table. Whenever I needed assistance, the servers were always nearby and happy to help with anything we needed. Best of all, the portions were huge – I definitely got more than my money’s worth!
