Started visiting this restaurant recently, and it is nothing short of excellent. Great portion sizes as well as great food. The Pho, of any variety, and their bubble tea is something divine.

I eat Pho every week, sometimes even twice a week. I travel for work all over Louisiana so I do have the pleasure of trying many different places for food. I’ve never paid $9.50 for a bowl of Pho anywhere before. They were out of bean sprouts of which could have been mentioned while I was ordering. Flavor was good but not worth the extra $2 than the norm I’ve paid before.

Sat down to eat and found bugs in our soup. I later discovered the bugs came from the soy sauce on the table. Made them aware of the situation. They removed all the soy sauce from the tables and STILL charged us FULL PRICE. We should have just walked out!!!!! It’s a shame cause they have the best Pho on the North Shore

Best vietnamese food on the northshore. We eat here every other week at least. The #29 is my favorite – pork is amazing. Also, DEF try the chicken wing appetizer – it’s so delicious! 5 Stars!

The pho is always fantastic, very relaxing atmosphere but the service is hit or miss unfortunately. Depends on the waitress you get to be honest. Theres 2 ladies, 1 of them is extremely sweet, she smiles and makes you feel important, “the other lady” couldn’t give a s**t if you died at the table. I had the craving for vietnamese last night so I decided to come in. The second I walked through the door and saw what waitress it was I braced myself for the worst service ever (as if my previous experience w this women couldn’t get much worse). My expectations were met when she took our order, walked away for 15 minutes then came back and asked what we ordered again so we told her what the order was for the second time and when she came back w the pho she screwed up my friends order and insisted that it was the number he told her (I looked at the menu, and it def wasn’t). Lets rewind a bit, she also failed to bring out our spring rolls we ordered when we placed our drink orders upon arrival. I noticed a couple tables who came in 15 min after us getting spring rolls before us, when we asked what was up with the rolls, she said they are coming out but obviously she forgot all about that as well because it was brought out at the same time as our pho. We got our side plates w the bean sprouts, jalapeños, cilantro, and..mint?? there was no mint, mint never made it to the table, did they run out?? idk, she never gave us an explanation nor did we care to ask for one at that point. We ate and got out of there as soon as possible before we freaked out on the lady. I’m seriously done giving this place any more of my money, if i wasn’t a nice guy i would of tipped zero!! like i said the food is actually pretty on point and delicious but I’m not rolling the dice on the terrible service anymore. That lady needs to be let go immediately or they will continue to lose business. Theres 3 other vietnamese options on 190 in covington that are all pretty good so i will take my chances elsewhere. “Pho Saigon” is right up the street as well as “Pho V&V”, “Northshore Empress” serves vietnamese as well all located on 190 within 5 minutes of this place. I suggest giving them all a try and deciding what suits you the best. One of the only reasons I’ve eaten at Pho An so many times is because they are open on Mondays and everything is lovely with the sweet waitress. This is the most honest review you people will ever get. Thank me later.

Was a bit hesitant about trying a vietnamese restaurant in Louisiana…but the food was incredible! I’m from Houston but this is still possibly the best pho I’ve ever had. Looking forward to trying the bubble tea soon.

The food is as close as I have ever had to authentic Vietnamese. Go there if you have or have not sampled Vietnam cuisine.
