We waited almost an hour just to get two soups the service was super slow, the only one waiter was doing her best but the food was not coming out. There was a lot of upset people that day.

Big portions! My bun was good. My mother said the pho has improved. Service wasn’t great. Sporadic and unattentive. It’s probably a good place for the neighborhood but not one of the better Vietnamese restaurants in Sacramento.

Hands down the best pho in my neighborhood. The broth is fantastic & is served piping hot. The salt & peppered eggplant is very good. I enjoy it with a side of sweet & sour sauce. The Peking Pork ribs has a sweet glaze & is finger licking good. As it heats up, the strawberry shake is one of my favs as well as the vermicelli bowls with grilled pork & chicken. Fast & friendly service. Prices are affordable and portion sizes are big enough for sharing. Great for take or dine in. Parking gets a bit crazy in this plaza so try parking around back. There’s a back door entrance to Hoa Viet so you don’t have to walk all the way around to the front.

The Pho itself was pretty OKAY, to say the least. It was not bad. But it wasn’t spectacular either. I had to fix it to my liking, of course, but I had to ask for many of the condiments they didn’t have on the table.

Wow haven’t been here in a while I got the large bowl of pho which was quiet small for 9.50. Flavor has changed since and portion for the peeking spare ribs were so tiny. Smh will not return due to quality of food.
