We went for lunch and ordered their two combo meat/offal phos to get the different options. The soup was tasty with a good umami flavor but lacked some spices I liked. The staff was friendly, and the restaurant setting was nice and clean.

The place recently opened up, and we thought we would give their pho a try. When you walk in, you order at the counter, and then someone brings the food out to you. The pho was just okay. I felt it lacked flavor. I looked around for salt, but they didn’t have any on the tables. I just wanted more flavor in the soup. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t the best.

Welcome Pho Binh to Katy, TX!! When I saw the pre-construction coming soon sign, I was overly ecstatic. If this was the same Pho Binh as Houston’s Chinatown location, then Katians are in for a real treat! Long behold, they are!!! They just opened up 1 month ago and what a beautiful establishment. Bright, natural light makes it very inviting. The concept of pho was not what we expected, but in a great way…you order through a line similar to fast food, but they still serve you and bring out the food – table side service. Their menu has lots of traditional Vietnamese cuisine and they also have a boba drink menu!!! Staff was friendly and very attentive. We even got to meet the owners! Super friendly is all I can say about them. Now onto the food…rich and flavorful, full of aromatic spices and fresh ingredients. Banh Mi sandwiches was crunchy and crispy. As you can see in the pictures, great portions of food!! The prices were super reasonable and cheaper than majority of Katy Viet restaurants. If you are in the mood for Vietnamese food, hot or cold weather, come check them out. ChowChow Time!!

We have been huge fans of the Pho Binh restaurants for years, from the trailer to the Bellaire location, and when we found out that there was a location coming to Katy, we stalked it for months! While the food is amazing, what elevates it is the love and service that is poured into the establishment by Chef Binh, his wife, and his staff. You feel like family as soon as you walk into the door, and the food tastes like family too. Thank you for bringing your establishment down the street!

another new pho (Vietnamese) restaurant in Katy. first time going to this new location of Pho Binh which have few location all over town mostly in Chinatown or Southwest part of Houston. since it’s in Katy prices seem bit higher than the other locations and you pay up front at the counter when you order. have not experienced this before at other pho restaurants. food will be brought out to you later at your table so I guess it’s somewhat fast service but other than that not much interaction with the staff. food is OK and decent size portion.

My family has tried every pho place in Katy and this my new favorite! The pho broth is very flavorful. I’m Vietnamese so I know when something is legit. And the large size was surprisingly huge that I couldn’t finish my bowl. I also love the counter service concept for a pho place. It’s very quick and fast! Also, the owner/chef came own and greeted us. Binh is such a friendly and nice guy and we got to hear the humble beginnings of this awesome pho place. We will definitely come back and try the “dried chicken” dish next time. Thanks for the awesome service and food.
