My fiancé and I come here 2-3 times a month (I wish I was exaggerating) and this is our favorite place for pho! We always get an order of their calamari and we’ve never gotten it over cooked. Staff is always super friendly and will check up on our table regularly. This place has a nice family vibe about it (not sure if they’re family run though). I highly recommend if you want some good food, try here!

Update: be very careful when you order over the phone. We got the order mixed up couple of times already. Yesterday was the first time that I ever mention that the order was wrong to the host, and instead of apologizing for their mistakes, the host argued with me that it was our fault that we did not mention about the sizes, which we clearly did at least few times. I was very turned off by that and probably wont order from here again.

Pho Day is a newer Vietnamese restaurant located at the end of a strip mall behind Walgreens at Schaumburg Rd. and Plum Grove Rd in Schaumburg. Phoday is a unique restaurant in that the menu offers a huge variety of choices to meet everyone’s palate! They even have a Halal section on the menu! All food is made fresh to order. We started with Vietnamese spring rolls which were rolled fresh right before they came to our table and came with a delicious peanut sauce. Next we had Halal chicken pho. Served in large bowls as is the tradition. The broth was smooth, very tasteful and came with the accompaniments of bean sprouts, fresh basil, green chilies, and limes. The pho was delicious and with a bounty of chicken slices. It came with a special side dipping sauce for the chicken that was in the soup. The owner Vincent checked in on us to ask how the food was. The Pho was excellent. He also told me they make their very own chili garlic sauce daily and they put fresh lemongrass in it as well. All the fresh flavors marry together nicely and you can taste everything. All of these components for the Pho were delicious and you can tell that a lot of care was put into everything they made. He invited us back and asked us to try the beef Pho next time. This is a great place to come with family, friends or events. The establishment was very clean and tidy and the service was very good.

PHODAY is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant. We are treated so kindly by the owner and the workers I feel like part of the family. On one of our visits the chef came out with her favorite sauce and showed us a delicious way to eat one of the chicken pho dishes. I’ve never seen a chef go above and beyond like that before. They always make sure that we are happy and well fed. My favorites are the beef pho and the beef Banh Mi. The tea and coffee is just superb. Everything is well priced and you really get your value for your buck here. Expand your palette and pick something you haven’t tried before, you won’t regret it here!

Very tasty dishes: Vietnamese Egg Roll,Grilled Chicken Rice Plate, Grilled Chicken Vermicelli Rice Noodles and Seafood Fried Rice as well. Good value for money. Place is neat and clean, the staff was courteous and playful.
