Pho Dien is a traditional Vietnamese Noodle Soup Restaurant that has moved from Kim Son plaza in Houston and renamed to Pho Dien 1960 in Humble, Texas. It’s about a 10 minute drive from George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). Pho Dien has been voted Houston’s Best Pho in 2013 and for 3 years in a row since 2015 by Houston Press. I love coming to this location. Me and my partner have become regulars. Their pho never disappoints and their spring rolls are the BEST that I’ve ever had. I hope this place plans to expand one day, because it can get pretty packed sometimes (especially during lunch). However, the wait is worth it.

First timers, walked in and were immediately seated. The seating is right next to each other, no space between you and the next table. The server didn’t give us any time to even read the menu, I thought he was just going to take our drinks but just stood there and we felt forced to order whatever we first read. Two tables that came in after we ordered did receive their food first but in the end the food was good. Pricing wasn’t too bad either. I would visit again eventually.

Decent pho. The chicken pho was tasty. The beef pho had plenty of protein. Their coconut drink was delicious. The Thai tea was definitely too sweet-had to get more ice to tone it down. It can get very busy and seating can feel cramped.

They have the best Mango smoothie/Bubba drink I have ever had. You can taste the fresh mango and it tartness in the smoothie, thank you so much for whoever prepared it. I had the Pho Thai nam, the famous Pho and the noodles were soft/ almost soggy, the meat didn’t look like the flat steak meat we usually get with the Pho and it was curled together ( please see photo) but to be honest, it tasted very good. Now the Pho itself was just Ok, trust me i had much better tasting Pho in Northwest Florida and in Birmingham. The service was quick and friendly and the prices were very reasonable. I also saw the servers helping out with cutting the lettuce and vegetables out in the serving room instead of the kitchen ( please see pictures). Don’t you think this process should take place in the kitchen in a sanitary condition instead of infront of the customers who are eating lunch and/or dinner?

We were very disappointed about this location after reading all of the good reviews. The pho was kinda bland compared to other pho places we have been at. The sliced pork and rice looked delicious but the taste wasn’t that great. We did finish the pork but not the pho. Service was not that great our waiter, he seemed very timid and just sat us down and left and it was a lot of inconsistencies like that with him for a while. We won’t be coming back to this location.

Came to have dinner with my baby. As I walked in, I wasn’t greeted. Didn’t know if I needed to sit myself so I asked a lady in the entrance counter and she didn’t really acknowledge my presence. When I asked her if I can sit anywhere and if they had high chairs, she just directed me to sit at table 1. She spoke low, and then turned the blender on, I didn’t really hear her directing me where to sit and didn’t answer my concern for high chair. I kinda was just there in a bit of a shock that she kinda cut me off in conversation. Since a male waiter was walking towards me, he directed me where to sit me and my baby.

The greeting was very nice.. The food came out pretty quick. The waiter acted like he was aggravated by having to do work. They didn’t offer any specials. Place was very clean and serene. I asked for chili paste, but the waiter didn’t understand me and brought sugar packets instead. Anyways… Good food.. Y’all should try them.
