I recently dined at pho ga vang restaurant inside Mr. Wish bubble tea shop and was thoroughly impressed! The friendly staff made me feel welcome and the chicken pho was the best I’ve had in the area. Although I absolutely enjoyed my dish, there were some inconsistencies with the chicken being cooked at times – some days it was fantastic, while other days it was just okay. Overall, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a visit for a delicious meal and great atmosphere.

I have my fav pho place in Eden Center but I thought the photos were so inviting that I went in to eat a beef pho for lunch. The pho was so great, yummy cuts of meat, meatball is big and chewy, and noodles/beef ratio was perfect, the dipping sauce is what my dad usually makes for chicken, which was such a great surprise to get when ordering beef pho. I alternated dipping beef in there too and it’s just so great. They also have a bubble tea place inside which is great so you don’t have to buy it somewhere else. Super recommend!

The DC area has no shortage of pho places and I thought I already had my favorites. Pho Ga Vang changed my mind and is now in my top three on the whole East Coast! The base chicken pho is fantastic, with a broth that is a bit creamy. I like the generous portions of scallions and cilantro added to each bowl. We also had the Pho Nam (beef brisket, called chin in some places) which is my go-to beef pho. I loved the accentuation of star anise among the flavors and the broth has more structure than many other places. It’s also very convenient to be able to get bubble tea and pho in the same shop. Finally, the savory and spicy dipping sauce for the meat is really, really tasty. It’s really the icing on the cake. And the staff were friendly and efficient. My only slight hesitation is that I prefer lean brisket over fatty brisket (a la Pho Bat Dan in Hanoi), and our meat was a little on the fatty side. I’ll definitely be back – this is now one of our family go-to places for pho.

We ordered take out pho, after hearing about an “infamous chicken pho from Philly” now open in Eden. It was just ok. The vegetables given to us were mostly soggy and wilted. The broth was unfortunately nothing special – lacked depth. Not bad, but not great. On the other hand, the chicken was cooked well and tender. Not sure if msg is used, I was thirsty the rest of the night, which usually equates to an msg reaction. Probably wouldn’t come back, at least for the pho – didn’t get the hype.
