Pho Huy is a mom (front office) dad (kitchen) and daughter (waitress) facility. Pho Huy is the son’s name. Every 10 seconds we were asked what we like to order. So we said “Fried Rice with shrimp”. Within a few minutes the dad brought a huge plate of rice with a lot of small shrimp, pease, and small pieces of carrots. This did not satisfy my dietary. requirements and we ordered a dish of Grilled Chicken. This was Tastey. I had to pick the pease and pieces of carrot to satisfy my dietary requirement. Will I go again?

We have a weekend tradition of coming to Pho Huy for a delicious bowl of pho and crispy rolls. Sometimes we’ll switch it up and get their pork banh mi (If you want to indulge try the banh mi and a bowl of pho on the side ). If you can’t shake the morning drowsiness, a vietnamese iced coffee will definitely get your day going. There are lots of pho choices in the DMV but Pho Huy has emerged as my favorite and a reliable source of tasty comfort. A must try in my book.

Are you Pho-real! This place was really good. We were greeted and seated quickly. Our order was promptly taken and the service was great. It was also a Thursday. They were playing the NFL which I didn’t expect but good to know for future reference. The Pho competition is tough around here but this place did not disappoint. The appetizers were delicious and the broth was savory and delicious. The hot sauces were on point. It wasn’t like a fine restaurant experience but everything was good about this place. I definitely recommend.

This is an average Vietnamese restaurant. If you need a quick lunch, it’s adequate, but there are better options. The day before, I grabbed a menu from the staff – because I told them I was going to order the next day. They said that I could substitute extra meat if I didn’t want the egg roll with the vermicelli three meat combo. The next day I ordered and that substitution was denied. But this isn’t why I’m saying this restaurant is average… Vietnamese food has a reputation – and I think deservedly – for being healthy – and this food was substantially greasy. There are better options out there – and I probably will not go here again.
