I absolutely LOVE this place! Their pho is so good. Their egg rolls and spring rolls are delicious. The sauces to go with them are as well. My kids and I all loved their sweet and sour chicken and fried rice. Great customer service and very decent prices. This was the first place I tried pho and have been in love since. The food is pretty good. I had the pho and the flavor profile was adequate, but not complex. I had to add in a lot of sauces to bring it up and it still wasn’t there. The large bowl is very large and you get a lot of meat. And I really mean a lot. The broth was clear and not oily or cloudy. The spring rolls were good. My friend has the chicken noodle bowl which was good I hear. Dinkytown is hard to find parking but doable.

Looking at the menu, it is just a regular Vietnamese restaurant; pho, noodle salad, fried rice, rice platter. Don’t let this fool you. The food is super good. I have rice platter with grilled pork; the pork is super soft and tasty. The grilled pork and egg roll noodle salad is tasty as well. Didn’t try any of their drinks since we are going for a boba across the street. They just opened another Pho Mai by Asia Mall if that place is closer to you then this one in UofM area.

Stopped to get pho on a cold day for dinner and my expectations were exceeded. I appreciated how clean the restaurant was and how quickly we were served. For two people we were able to get seated right away. Food was fantastic, and the broth was especially delicious.

It was good to finally sit down inside. We usually get a few dishes with Doordash. Service was great, our server was all smiles. My Pho was good and hot. I had the large. Looks like they use the same portion as regular just more broth. But it was good. It’s a bit pricey. Rent and taxes are higher on this block because of University? I don’t know. It was $85 for 3 people. I will say this is the most I have spent on Vietnamese Food. We have eaten at some fine Vietnamese around the US and didn’t pay that much for 3 people. Other than price, food was good Pho stayed hot in bowl for awhile. Service was excellent. Will probably fo back.

Decided to try this place out instead of my usual pho place. I did takeout and found a rubber band in my noodles after a few bites in. Lost my appetite after chewing on rubber bands mixed in my noodles and couldn’t finish the dish. Disappointed.
